I just got my knee fixed and it's good as new. I feel NO pain or tweekiness anymore whoohoo!!! Shouldn't have much bruising, if any either and I got the OK to ride tonight.
Michael, aka Shred is on his way to my house momentarily. I am assuming we'll meet you guys at the dealership.

Well, I wasn't to thrilled with the stock Dunlops, mainly 'cause they took so much out of them to make them lighter, there wasn't too much life left in them. Also once I tried the Metzlers, the Dunlops can't hold a candle to those. From the rumors I've heard here on the BadWeB, Metzler and Perelli are one in the same with a different tread pattern (M1s and Diablos), so it's a step in the right direction IMHO.
Well since Shred's on his way to A4R's I guess I'm on my way to your shop. See you there. Should be there by 5:30.

Nice snaps there Dave. The body language of the dude on the end of the domino line is classic disbelief. The graffiti backdrop is perfect for the urban assault ride that the Buell is! We ought to make a point of getting the group together for an Urban photo opp ride. I know (as you probably do) quite a few cool backdrops for great photos.
I watched the UPN segment when I got home last night. I'm a dork. I forgot I have a southern draw. Thanks Gator, for letting me barrow the tape. : )

Damn, that was crazy. Poor guy, I'm sure he'll be selling his bike and shaving his head before he rides again.
There always has to be a negative to balance the positive, if it hadn't been that it could have been something worse.

See what you miss when you're inside, bikes falling and Shred with a bucket on his head.

Looks like I missed an entertaining time last night sorry i missed it but I have been out of town. Always in for urban assault that new video on the Buell website makes me want to go today.
Also a favor, would someone look at their throttle cable and see if it goes under the bar and around the back of the top of the fork. I put new bars on and it looks funny to me.

It was a good time.
The most bikes I've seen up there in a while.

Torqer, I think I may like the Puck gloves after all. I tried them on while you were busy. May just get those. Have ya'll ordered the Xenon headlamp bulbs? If not would they come faster if I came up and paid for them in advance?

I am taking a early ride to the mountains sunday with a buddy on an R6. He has to work at 1:00 so we will be heading back before noon. Then I have to take Samantha swimming. Sorry I will miss out on the URBAN ASSULT. If any one wants to do a ride with us you are more than welcome. Post and let me know, probably meet at about 6:30am on 317 and 85.
Glitch, the photos are great, looks like in photo one like swear words but it says, "go back to buckhead".
Anyway on another note, had a bud help me with some suspension tuning today and it is really a whole new bike! Much faster in the turns now. As far as tires, I am getting a set of Race DOT's at the begginning of next month, CHEAP. any thoughts on street use?

any thoughts on street use?
Although I'm a big fan of cheap, I've heard that race tires don't like the up and down heat cycles that street use does to them. On the other hand Shred had some race take offs last summer he seemed to be happy with. So maybe you could get in touch with him and see what he has to say. You'll probably be OK, although you may need new tires sooner than you would if you bought street tires.
What's the schedule look like?
I'll let it be up to Torqer since it he that needs the schedule. Must be a busy day, he's not posted much today. I'll probably be going out to SMHD/Buell tomorrow for the new headlamps or gloves (can't decide which right now) so if he hasn't chimed in I'll figure it out with him tomorrow morning.
