Alright here is the plan so far leave Friday the second weekend in July (that will be the 15th and coming back the 18th). My brother stays in outer atlanta and knows the roads around there he will be meeting us on the rides. As far as I know I was driving the truck down with mine and Matts bike loaded up and camping out. Who all is interested in joining?

I'm considering riding if I can through my gear in the back of the truck. I've done it once, it's not that bad, and some of the roads to get there are pretty fun too.

Sure, there are some long straights on the slab, but even those can be fun depending on the weather.

Are you planning on camping, or staying at the Dragon or some place just east of TN?? Cause Copper Head Ranch isn't that far away and it puts you 1.5 hrs south of the Dragon and 30 mins east of Suches. The Bunkhouse use to be $8 a night.

Just camping out that was the original plan an yeah it is cool if you want to throw your stuff in the back. I was planning on staying some where near two wheels only not sure though. but we will be there for the weekend and get to ride with my brother which will be fun the guys he rides with are pretty cool as well.

i think it'd be neat to go for a bonsai run there and back. pack the essentials and a tent or just grab a room.
provided that the weather is great, and everything goes smoothly and perfectly.
i'm far from perfect, and about as smooth as broken glass

what i'm looking to get out of this trip is;
i wanna ride some awesome roads, snap a few cool pics, and quench my thirst around a fire with some good friends.

i wont be picky about much else, but i'm still just gonna bring teh basics

It will be 50 for trailer each like 40 u can figure 2.5 to 3 tanks of gas down there and back it takes about 65 to 70 to fill up my truck leaving around ten so we have daylight to get settled. let me know how that sounds or if u can think of a better way to split it.

Ok... So by my math, $200 each for the gas and trailer. Split the trailer, and each one pays for a fill up down and back. Four makes the number smaller, but not by much. (Extra bike and gear)

That just leaves the Camp site. Which should be next to nothing and almost in the noise.

Wolfpen Gap huh... I've got a 5 gallon gas container. We may want to bring one or two more. There's really only one gas station down there unless you go to Dalonega, Hey Nilla (gotta remember that there are 2 Matts now) Do you remember Buelltoberfest? Were we on US64 while we were riding beside the rapids?
