OK I am looking at doing a Klickitat run on Saturday June 11th.
Meet up at Elmer's Pancake off of I205 across from Mall 205 at 8:00 kickstands up at 8:30.
Address:
9660 Southeast Stark Street, Portland, OR 97216-2404
Round trip is approx 225 miles so plan on 6-7 hours with lunch and gas stops.
This is not a Buell only ride seeing how most of our full time members now own BMW's, Kawi's and even a Harley (Slimdave?) |

I second that, the BMW is a sweeeeeeeet ride. I had the chance to take one out for a bit, so... much... power... !!!
Comfy, stable, quick, nimble, traction control, ABS, etc.
There is a downside though, wait, um no there isn't, sorry. |

To be honest, if I didn't have my heart set on an 1198SP, I would definitely buy the BMW. As much as the BMW has a ton of goodies, the Ducati has almost the same goodies, but it also has my heart, and that is worth more.
So, no, the Italian mistress is safe, but she'll have competition in the form of another younger Italian model hopefully very soon. |

Ok... Bike's a total loss  Going to end up with more than I paid for the bike 
Would love BMW... But not going to spend that type of money. Looking for 2007 or newer L bike. Might have one just in time

Sorry to hear about the bike. You just got it setup with exhaust and the Erik Buell Racing ECM correct. Any chance you get to keep some of the parts or are they taking the bike?
I think PBR will soon stand for Portland Bike riders. :-)
All the liter bikes are real close can't go wrong with any of them. Really comes down to what feels good.
There was a real nice 08 CBR 1000 listed in the PNW classifieds. |

This ride is sport/spirited oriented (you know our pace from past rides) once we hit the twisties. That said Ravens_Voice has volunteered to take up the rear and your friend should do fine with him. Ravens-voice likes to take in the sights.
Everyone needs to ride their own pace and the faster guys will stop and wait before making any turns off the main road.
Since the communicators are not ready to be worn due to effecting mounting and cable reach. I will print out the directions just in case. (I may need them as well without my GPS right now).
In process of remounting and had to buy another mount.
We will meet between 8:00- 8:30 and leave at 8:30. I should be there by 8:15 |

Great ride today. I tried to take some video but the first part I ended up getting a bug stuck in the middle of the lens. Then the case fogged up because I didn't use the vented back cover. I will try to post some video anyway but be warned its crappy looking.
