Finally! Someone says "that was me!" Got another one - another black CR going east on I-66 before Manassas Saturday evening about 6:30pm. I was on the Uly headed west to the Rush concert at Jiffy Lube Live, where I sat next to a dude who used to have a CityX and a Firebolt. Said he still lurks on Badweb out of habit. Great concert, too. | ||

Saturday the 2nd at about 11am or so, I saw a red Lightening in a group of what must have been 10-13 bikes, mostly Hogs. You passed me on Rectortown Road in Rectortown, VA. I was standing on the side of the road, walking my dog, pointing to my gray Buell Pegasus shirt and giving you the thumbs-up. I love the roads in that area. | ||

16:45pm Wednesday 13 I saw a Black Lightning headed west on 66 crossing 7100 Fairfax County Parkway. He was wearing a black helmet and Hi-Viz green riding jacket. | ||

I saw two Firebolt's today October 20 2010. The first one I saw was parked in Bedford Village on Cannongate Road in Fairfax VA. It was white with the Buell race exhaust. The second Firebolt I saw was yellow it was headed east on 66 between Manassas VA and the rest area that was at 17:24pm. | ||

Several weeks ago, from Hooper: "Black CR in the alley next to Rasika restaurant, downtown DC in Penn Quarter, 10/17 at 5pm. God what a sinister bike. Totally original." A couple days later, from Lew360: "Yeah someone saw me. I was waiting for the garage I park in to open, I work as a contractor for DOJ. I'm usually there that time every day I work. Thanks for the compliment, bike is mostly stock." Hooper, tonight at 7:15pm on D Street NW: Wow, I actually met the rider of a Buell sighting! Good to meet you tonight, Lew. Thanks for giving me a small heart attack. After dinner at a DC restaurant tonight, I was back at my Uly, parked in front of a DC office building, to suit up and ride home. A man in uniform came out and walked right at me - I figured I was about to be told that I shouldn't park my bike on the edge of another parking space. But no, he said, "Are you Hooper? I'm Lew360...I had the CR parked over here in the alley." Good times. Look for you out on the road or at one of the weekend Bowie Chik Fil-A rides that Pellis and Lars organize here. By the way, as a tall guy, how does the CR fit you? I really want one, but felt it was a little cramped on a test ride. Have a good weekend... | ||

Sorry about the Heart attack. Nice to meet you as well. The stock CR wasn't that bad, but I added the High Bar kit and a set of XB lower pegs. Those two things have opened up the triangle a lot. It feels more like a standard and less like a Cafe Racer. | ||

Saw the top-half of someone riding what looked to be a clear-orange Lightning. You were in the leftmost lane of the Outer Loop of the Beltway on the American Legion Bridge, headed south, last night around 5:45pm (I was on the Inner Loop in my cage, crawwwlllling north). Saturday, November 20, 3:15pm. Black XB with bronze/gold rims and a LOUD pipe cruised by on Route 55 west approaching Marshall, VA. I was at the self-storage there, checking out the M-47 tank parked next door in a machine tool company's lot. Great day for a ride...wish I didn't have to haul old beds to my in-laws' storage locker. | ||

Today I saw two Buells the first one was a Yellow Lightning heading west on 66 between Centerville and Manassas at 10:20am. The second Buell that I saw was heading west on route 50 passing Fair Oaks Mall at 12:15pm. |
