Last year I used an upside down harley logo. It is probably even lighter now that Buell Motorcycle Company is no more. As for the logo on the BADWEB site, feel free to contact Blake and ask him to put it on - maybe he will get to it this time. It kind of leaves out the folks down in 'Querque, Las Cruces, and Ruidoso, when you have the Santa Fe on it... What program was used to make that? if you have the original file, I can downsize it sometime this weekend to get it to "fit" their criteria. or I can just recreate a new one using photoshop or illustrator. I don't have it on my work computer and my desktop and home crapped out, so when I get that going again, I could put it with just New Mexico. We had it as Santa Fe because we were technically sponsored by SFHD at that time. Now, we're not. We're independent. I enjoyed it even though I'm limping around today. I got huge blisters on the balls of my feet. I think that was from the hilly, sandy terrain. I've never gotten them there before. And my feet were swollen pretty good too. Larry, which Hyatt are you staying at? How long was the march CJ? anyone go on any rides? Friday night we went out with a few buddies on the bike, and one of the control riders from the track tagged along. I forgot his name, but he is number 972 and rides a CBR 600 He was a good rider, but a bad group leader, and a bit on the crazy side. He took us on a tour of albuquerque's round-about freeway on ramps. after about the 4th one, and dozens of vehicles honking at us as he weaved in and out of lanes I was a bit concerned that he may have a death wish, and backed off slightly. I wasnt all about dragging knees around every corner with my fiancee on the back. Don't get me wrong, I've passed in a no passing zone, I've passed headed into a curve, etc, but it was all because I knew I could do it 'safely.' Weaving in and out of traffic in town is just a recipe for disaster. And makes you look like a douche. This is why I like to stick to the mountains or the track. Much less traffic to worry about and less chances for an encounter with the law. I'm not going to ride this weekend because it's my wedding anniversary, and the following weekend I'm working. But the weekend of the 16th/17th, I'm planning to ride. I have no idea at this moment if that's a track weekend, but I'm going to the mountains, so if you want to go, let me know.   Agfish18 Posted on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 - 02:23 pm:        well, usually the guys I ride around town with are a little more level headed and just like to cruise around town, at a safe pace... he was reckless, and came off as a douche... needless to say, wont be riding with him again. I too prefer the mountain roads and out of the city limits areas as the riding is much more interesting...and I get to actually ride instead of sit at stoplight after stop light. I just didnt have half a day this weekend to go on a long ride out of town, so I settled for a group ride in town. Track day is on the 10th, but race day is on the 17th. I will not be at race day, just track day, so if you dont mind, maybe I will tag along on your mountain trip the following weekend? Which mountains were you thinking?   Ghostrider Posted on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 - 03:24 pm:        I haven't gotten to do the Jemez yet this year and I did the High Road, but none of the other exciting points north. I could do something on the 16th/17th or the 23rd, but not the 24th. And if it's Saturday, it's more likely a half day starting at around 1100 or so. The pegasus might be interesting... preferably the Erik Buell Racing version. I wanted to add something to do with Buell (i.e. pegasus logo) but then came across possible copyright issues... I did think of replacing the lightening bolt to one that had the Buell Pegasus head at the top that kind of turned into a bolt...but I didnt have time to change it up this morning. I will do it tonight when I get home.
