With all the talk lately of stickers, patches and tshirts, I just wanted to remind everyone that we also have setup the logo at Cafe Press a while ago. They have various items with our logo -- hats, stickers, mugs, etc.

Sh*tballs...some pages have been deleted. Possibly a password hack on one of our accounts?
Actions taken:
- The only three users right now are Neil, Mark and myself. I've removed all site permissions for Neil and Mark temporarily and reset my own password.
Neil & Mark - please login and change your password on the site. Once you do, let me know and I'll raise your permissions back up to the Author level.
To Do:
- This weekend I'll upgrade the site version and add some auditing tools to watch for this type of malicious activity.

COBRABuell.com is back up and functioning from Thursday's backup.
The problem occurred sometime between Thursday @ 4:15pm EST and Friday @ 4:29pm EST. May have simply been some database corruption, although that's not the most likely cause.
Still investigating... |

WEBSITE ISSUE RESOLVED
Turns out it was nothing malicious at all. It was user error...on my part. DOH!!
By way of explanation, when I added Neil to be able post on Friday, I noticed we had 387 "subscribers" to the site. Sadly, none of them appeared legitimate -- they were all spammers. So I simply deleted them all and then set the site so people can't just subscribe without approval first. Otherwise the user list would just be full of crap and difficult to manage.
The user error came into play when I inadvertently deleted the original "admin" account with those 387 users. Well, I had initially used "admin" to post the missing 5 pages that Josh noticed this morning. Delete the user and the posts/pages they created get deleted as well.
Of course, I'm a good admin and make nightly backups of the site, so restoration was pretty simple once I identified things that far. Now I just have to go back and delete those 387 bogus users again...without deleting "admin" this time. LOL! |

Last update on the website. I just finished upgrading it to the latest version, patching all the plugins, and adding an auditing tool.
Reminder - If anyone wants the ability to post on the website, just let me know and I'll get your account setup.
I'm now off to begin preparation for celebrating my middle child's 15th birthday this evening. She happens to be the only one of our three kids that really enjoys riding with me.
