i just called them:
the gates open the 10th at 6pm. so there's no point in showing up early.
there is no camping fee. only a $10 fee for electricity with a $10 deposit. i'm thinking a box fan would be nice to have as the sun beats down ...
restroom/shower facilities and electricity are at the Shenandoah course paddock, but not the jefferson.
the Shenandoah paddock is mostly flat, so no sleeping at an incline like VIR south.
also there is grass to pitch a tent on. instead of asphalt. i'm packing the air matress anyways.

and i'm pretty sure cara wants to come with the night before.
so if rachel wanted to come with; she could ride in the van and jen could mind josh on the ride to and from.
we can fold down the seats in the van and sleep in there, too.

Ok I will ask her what she want to do, I talked to mario and he has a cooler that is about 4ft long and 2ft tall and that is cool I am glad it is grass and not pavement and that it is flat. I am picking up the brake fluid tomorrow so let me know when your available. thank God that will be open. it will take about 4 hours to get there so we should leave between 1 and 2pm right? Just let me know. so i can tell the wife and keep mario informed.

VIR south was higher speed, but this one was way more twisty and technical. still fun either way you slice it.

blind 2 and 3-apex turns, long sweepers and chicanes a-plenty. uphill/downhill. you name it, shenedoah's got it.

Billy Sink sed it was his favorite course to teach on, cuz 'it has it all'
