IDEA: Blk Uly- start farkling that HD with Buell performance parts and high performance stickers/emblems, make my dream come true!! I'd always envisioned a CVO HD XR1200RR, cross pollinated with Buell hi-po parts, sold as a showcase as to what HD shoulda/coulda/WOULDNTA do... Mebbe then it will keep up with a stock XB9SX....  | ||

I am really stoked now! Dont think I can get time off work, will be in Orlando a week before for a trade show. Will still camp Fri/Sat tho at T.W.O. Had some fun with a small pack of squids on R(ichard)R(ussel)R(aceway). They did not like getting passed. I am sure they all shat cuz just after I passed em was a long, blind decreasing radius, and those who know how I ride, well... | ||

...heard from a buddy in Parts at a metric shop, there's rumors of a Michelin PR3. He thinks it'll be a slight compound variation and a different tread pattern...but I'm curious. I can only dream it might be a dualsport type tire that I can use on my Uly - dual compound with blocky tread, how freakin' DIFFICULT is that??? SOMEbody needs to make one like that. Meantime, my Uly is sitting patiently, watching me ride the others to work, so I don't burn off the rest of the Homecoming tires before BTF  | ||

Hey Kristi, where on the coast are you guys in NC... I will probably be in Chapel Hill and heading to Suches on Thursday the 14th... what are your plans? I would love to ride with you guys... I have been SICK for a full week now and I MUST get better before Oct 8th... I have a headache that does not feel better with Alleve and cough and allergy medicine I am taking... gotta go to work through it too to have the time off... grrr...  | ||

At T.W.O. [check] Eat at T.W.O. [check] Do Blood Mountain and Wolf Pen again [check] Ride back to the house [check] Another awesome ride! All in all, somewhere around 200 miles in the twisties, withsome of the best weather yet! We had rain last night so there was a little sand or gravel hear and there. I had a case of the Slowly McSlows, and held everyone up, it was fun Someone will post up the pictures and the video here shortly. | ||

Well, if anyone needs it, we have a spare '01 M2L here in MD. All stock, new tires on the way (handles like a freakin skateboard on the dried out D205's!), but runnin' great. Fly/drive in and ride on down. It'd be nice to have someone to ride with | ||

Whatever - we are close to Greenville/Kinston area. We will be trailering to Suches. I usually have the car packed since I purchase all the food/beverage items for C3 Central. Not sure which route we'll take this year. As for Beaufort/Morehead City earlier in the week, I doubt we'll be able to make it. Kids in school, getting ready for Suches and Carlos is having to cover 2nd shift since he's down 2 supervisors. However, if you're in the area, drop us a line. Carlos and Mark may decide to ride after all, you never can tell. | ||
