I've been going to T.W.O. for somewhere around 25 years. I love the place, I love the people. The area can't be beat either. If it's not for you, or you feel inconvenienced, sorry, there's other accommodations in the area. It's the lack of organization, and agenda that glues the 3%ers together, that's one reason T.W.O. is the only choice. | ||

As long as the weird uncle isn't also a peeping tom I am cool with it... I can't wait either !!! Last night I had on two jackets and long underwear riding home from a friends house. I have to look into some heated gear soon... anyone got any ideas... I would probably be a small to xtra small mens or med womens... Let me know!  | ||

Really? You will be sorry... I can damn-close-to-guarantee it. I have spoken to base at Chapel Hill, NC and I will arrive in RTP area between Friday Oct 8th and Saturday Oct 9th... which gives me a few days with college buds... then off to the Smokies... Dragon etc. Arriving at TWO some time after noon on Thursday the 14th. Staying at TWO Thur, Fri and Sat night... the 14th through 17th am and leaving bright and early on Sunday morning. Gotta go buy some heated gear... and a few other items... will get the hard bags mounted on the Piglet this Friday! I can't wait. Gonna have to pack all the heavy duty gear up... we got some big ole hail last night and it isn't even October yet!!! | ||

I'll be arriving at T.W.O. oh 10/14 thurs.evening to camp at two also. Leaving out from 33904 that morning. 662 miles a good days ride leaving out sun or mon we'll see. So far it looks like i'll be making the trip alone so far but that could change. I'm soo psyched! | ||

We just did a 12 hour Pre-BTF-Run. Perfect weather. Wolf Pen was extra clean, as were all the roads we hit, even Richard Russell! They've got tar snakes on Wolf Pen, but they weren't any bother. 60 was awesome! 129 was where we saw some traffic, and ALT75 as well, but we were patient enough to wait for the passing lanes. Stopped off at T.W.O. for lunch, I loves me a Big Ass Burger. Then rode some more. Went through two full tanks of gas, by the way, Not Dale's has only regular gas, so bring some octane boost just in case you can't make it to Morganton, or down 60. The weather was awesome! Blue skies, clean pavement, low humidity, and good company. Rode with New12r (Uncle Charlie) and Matt, "Twintalon", I think. Just met Matt today, he's a good rider, excellent taste in bikes as well. He's riding a 05 XB9R. What an awesome day! Can't wait to ride with y'all!  | ||
