Wish I could have made the ride .. missed out on the ride and the rabbit stew.
Just no time this year .. jezzz. Inspired me though. I'm taking a day off of work next week and heading to the hills ,, scheduling Thursday but flexible based on weather and if and one else can make it.
e-mailed the pic of the rabbit to a friend in MI who rides ... all he could say was .. wow. |

Maybe one of these days I'll get an S1, but mine will be rabbitless. Sorry Mr. Rabbit.
Haven't ridden in over two weeks. I keep thinking, maybe tomorrow, but tomorrow never comes. I need to switch it to today, but with the heat we have been experiencing, and that at work it feels like we're in a convection oven at work, I haven't wanted to have to make the hot trip home from work.
Looking forward to some cooler temps, and Buelltober Fest. |

Can't WAIT for Buelltoberfest!! I'm There! The only question is do I camp or get a room? Do they have showers at TWO?
Also, a question: Why is it that the tripmeters on my '06 9R seem to reset at 1K miles? Can I not set one for the oil changes and have it run to 3K so I know when to change fluids? |

Sanchez - I wish I would have gone on that ride Sunday. My other plans ended being canceled, and I slept in. When I got up and went outside to the beautiful weather, I was kicking myself. My little local ride was good, but would have liked more.
It's hard to believe that Buelltober Fest is just around the corner. |

Trying to get my hands on the '10 LED tailight.... Apparently they're backordered through HD, and there is No release date...
So I guess "A guaranteed 5-7 years of parts support" actually means a guaranteed 5-7 MONTHS of parts support...
BTW, does anyone have a good fuel map for a 9 (basically the Buell Race ECM map) stored on their computer? I need to get my hands on one.... |

I was worried about rain, but the day turned out beautiful for sure. The guy from work hadn't been to the mountains before, so we took it easy. We rode up 60 to 180 to RBR to Helen for lunch, then took 17/75 to 180 to 129 and back to Rider's Hill to hang out for a bit. We ran into Musicman and zee1 from BSB there and rode home with them.
I had a bit of a scare on the way back to Atlanta when Lumpkin Co flashed his headlights at me and pulled a u-turn. I was going ~10 over at the time. He caught up to our group and then just pulled off and u-turned back the other way without giving anyone any crap.  |

Well it's been a while since my last post, thought y'all enjoy a laugh. Tim and I are broke down, well out of gas.... Just outside Lexington , Va on our way to Summit Point for the races.
Were waiting for roadside asst' to bring us 5 gal of diesel becuase the last two gas stations are closed. The fuel light
said we had 36 miles left of gas, it's wrong and this really sucks

We're back on the road, the 5 gallons gas was free but the service call wasn't.....
Anyone want to guess how much? |
