I CANT MAKE IT!!!! I just had my bike up on the stand to make sure the exhaust was tight, and discovered my front isolator is bad. Unless I find one by Saturday, I will have to pass on the slimey crud. I'm really looking forward to the ride too. Let the hunt begin.  | ||

For the Spring 2010 edition of the Slimey Crud Run, we had a small group this time, but it was still a lot of fun. I think that I can speak for all involved. Our sincerest apologies Charlotte. Also, I have to commend Tim for having the fortitude for continuing to lead after he broke a nail. I'll post a link to the photos as soon as I get a chance to upload them. GROUP RIDE THIS SUNDAY! Now that the rain has ended, I want to pre-run the Holy Hill route for Homecoming. Since the route needs to start and end in East Troy for Homecoming, we'll meet at Shell/McDonald's in East Troy (Hwy 20 & Cty ES). Meet at 12:30, kickstands up at 1:00. HUGE kudo's to our local team who "hosted" Homecoming 2010! Steve, Rocco, Bob S. and everyone else who volunteered or played a part...Wow! It was obviously a TERRIFIC event and very memorable for Buell riders from everywhere. You all did an outstanding job...and made us proud here locally! (I regret that an intense work schedule kept me on the sidelines...hope I can pitch in next year.) Thanks everybody!! | ||

+1 for what Tim said! The only Homecoming event that I was able to go to was the track day at Blackhawk Farms, but it was awesome! This was my very first track day, and although my first lap was a bit unnerving, things got better, and I was having a blast in no time. I kinda' have the bug now. I'm going to have to do it again. Anyway, three cheers for Bud! He did a great job putting that event together. The Motovid.com crew was great as well. Seeing Erik roll up in that cube van with the 1190 was pretty sweet as well.
