What a great day. Met up with the Bueller group, had breakfast and took a nice ride together.

Met a new friend, Jim. Again, Jim, it was so much fun having you with us. Every time I look at your picture, it brings a big smile to my face. The look you had after doing Peak to Peak then down Golden Gate Canon is priceless. I am so excited we could bring such a fun time for you. And hopefully there will be many more.

Frank and I had a fun ride yesterday. We rode out to Buena Vista for lunch and stopped at Wilkerson Pass for pictures. I am feeling so much more comfortable now on my XB. I am getting to the point now, where I am telling Frank....you can go faster if you want!!

I still have that perma-grin on my face this morning!!!!!! J&D it was fantastic meeting you both, you both are amazing, I really feel as if I have made two very good friends.......and the rest of the group....well....all I can say is I wish I bought my bike and came up to CO a long time ago, you guys are great!!!

Jcbikes - Yup, made it back just fine! When I got to 25 I looked north and said "oh hell no"....rolled on over to 75 and ran up diagonally to try and beat that huge cell.....that worked out but had to pull off and just hang out for a bit and wait for another cell to clear my path. Made it back to the motel safe and dry, only problem I had/have is a very saddle sore butt....lol. And the concern just reinforces my statement above....great people here!!! Looking forward to riding with "y'all" again....sorry couldn't resist

Oh I plan on it!!! And just to let you guys know, next time I probably won't be alone.......one of our Field Engineers showed up today with an 1125CR in the back of his truck (he bought it in April)....told him about my weekend and he's geeked, can't wait to go riding.

Oh Jim, that could be trouble. When do you guys wanna meet up. LOL We definitely have lots of roads to play on (and hopefully no troopers) so keep in touch and we'll have to meet somewhere, and maybe you can stay in Castle Rock again and go to Yolanda's for grub.

John, thank you for your call today. You are sooooo sweet. Definitely feeling better. Look forward to getting together and riding, either on the dirt or street. I think I'm ready to go dirt biking again soon. The weather isn't suppose to be too nice this weekend.

A cool visual for everybody....Walker Pew rockin some flannel last weekend at the first practice for the 2010 PPIHC. I am the official photog this year....expect more good stuff. Walker is entered on the High Country Buell...and Rob Smith is back on his S1 Lightning. After they finish paving the thing in a few years....It'll prolly be me in the race!

Well, thanks to UPS's incompetence. My package was suppose to be delivered today. As it stands it made it to Commerce City, CO and has not shown that it left there. This is the second time this has happened to me with them. I called them and they could tell me nothing about it other than what I can already see. They told me I would have to contact the shipper to have them get more info on this. Argh!!!!! I hate dealing with UPS. I prefer to ship with the USPS and should have done so with this.

Bummer. UPS sucks. When ever possible, I either use Fedex or USPS. Hopefully you will get it Monday. the weather will be better next week to test it out.

Well, the problem is that it's sitting in Commerce City, CO. Sigh. Maybe I'll call them tomorrow and get on their case and see who's rear needs a fire lit under it to get it here. I really did think to ask Erik Buell Racing to ship with USPS. I really did...

Sorry to hear about the delay in your delivery, Ryan. With the weather and all, you could have been installing it this weekend. Bummer

But other GOOD news, I got my new riding boots today. We were coming home from doing some errands and saw the Fedex truck leaving our neighborhood and when we got home there was a package on our front porch. They fit great and give me about a 1 1/2" lift. Can't wait to get out and try them the the CR. It sure will give me a lot more confidence, ESPECIALLY when stopping.

We also picked up a generator specifically designed for RV's and dry camping. Sooooooo, now we just need to get out there again.

John, we were thinking of doing a day trip to Rampart next Sat and street riding on Sun. If you'd like to join us in the dirt on Sat let us know.

And Jody, hope you got the oil changed. Did you ride to Frank's in the rain? : )

Julie that is great you got your new boots!!...Frank calls them my Frankenstein boots....trust me it helps so much. The only time I am still alittle unstable is when we stop on a hill. Other than that my riding has improved much more with the last few rides. I really, really love my XB!
We will have to get a ride in together this summer with our new Buells...
