Mel, about that luggage racks you mentioned;
i have been thinking of some square tubing bolted inbetween/in place of the peg brackets and subframe, with a 5 degree downward/outward bend for clearance
bolted up to your favorite givi/pelican hardbags .... or ammo boxes from harbour freight/northern tool for the economical approach.
mega-super-bonus-cool points for going with the whole OD green look.

lol! Thanks... I think I'm more of a round tube kinda guy. I was actually looking on American Sport Bike and they have a pretty groovy setup. Might try to mimic that design.

Back from Vegas. Lost some $$$ and drank a whole lot of $$$, too. All in all a good trip; I wish I had taken the Buell w/ me, though...the first week the weather was AWESOME...then it turned into straight poop the second week. Either way, I've survived another two-week Vegas trip unscathed. It's nice to be home.

how about business cards? ...... errr... maybe we shouldn't. don't wanna come off like a 'hierarchy club' with PRO's treasurer's, VP's and so forth.

unless we can get some that ... uuhh ... put out a 'good vibe'? that'd be much easier than handwritten notes or waiting around for the person to show up. which, by the way, feels very uncomfortable especially if you don't have your bike or gear nearby.

I think the best way to go about finding more Buell riders in the area would be to ride more in the area. That's typically how we've done it...see a Buell riding the other way, swing a U-turn, chase them down, B.S. with them for a while, give them the link to the forum, and then ride. Mayhaps a little creepy and stalker-ish, but still less gay than business cards. Ok, business cards aren't gay...and if they were, that's cool, to each business card, their own. Mayhaps a business card that just had the HRH logo and website...nothing more, though, because then it would be gay (which is cool, if the business card is down with that)...just something we can put on a Buell that we see on base, or parked somewhere sans rider.

I basically came around full circle on that one, huh? Oh well...back to sitting on the couch studying. I cannot WAIT until Monday...
