Took the Uly out through the mountains yesterday, man what a ride. I suggest it to anyone. Just glad I did not buy a Uly first it would probably be my one and only if I did. Need to set the suspension up on it a little bit more.
Might be looking to thin the herd this spring 5 bikes in the garage makes for no room for anything else.

Hey you guys heading out tomorrow???? I wanna come!!!! just got some new boots so i need to try them out on the bike. (See how they feel)
I'm doing inventory at work in the morning, but if I can be out by 11 I'll be ready to ride!!!

Harley rider pre-ride check off list:
1.Comb baseball player goatee and mustache
2.Spend 6- hours polishing gaudy chrome pieces. Be sure people can read the Live to ride ride to live statement on gas tank lid.
3.Assure suspension can handle at least 560 pounds of rider
4.Pack cell phone and have tow service numbers programmed.
5.Look in mirror and perfect the Im a bad ass motherf***er harley riding scowl.
6.Affix tassels from daughters bicycle to handle bars for added gay appearance.
7.Test flashers for when bike breaks down (99% probability)
8.Put on your wrist brace to help carpal tunnel from all of the unnecessary revving
9.Leather pants
10.Gloves
11.Wrap around sunglasses
12.Skull cap (German soldier type for the real badasses). Remember to think about the SAFETY aspect/argument of loud pipes as putting that potato chip on head. The real tough guys here will wear a bandana over their face (some with a skull) to look really scary----ooooh!
13.CAT work boots (new)
14.Leather vest with some chapter like: North chapter of pig f***ing obese attention douche bags with fat ugly loud mouth wives.
15.HD t-shirt (of course). Because everyone needs to know what shop you paid $40 for a $5 hanes shirt at.
16.Remove baffles from pipes so EVERYONE can hear you going 18mph in 2nd gear at redline. Note: Most HD break down before hitting 2nd gear.
17.Starbucks gift card: This is usually your hangout--------------how tough.
18.Call friends with similar ridiculous motorcycle (WW2 outdated technology garbage) and pathetic store bought image (gay pirate from the Castro) attire. Have them ATTEMPT to meet you at the starbucks without breaking down or crashing due to being distracted from looking at themselves in their chrome.
19. Five packs of Marlboro reds to smoke while riding to look extra cool
20. Slam a 6 pack of Zima prior to ride.
21. Saddle bags attached to pick up and store broken parts that fall off bike as you ride/push (if you can call it riding without laughing) that hunk of shit down the road. |

I wish I knew, would like to give him our information and invite him to ride. Oh well, maybe next time. Nice ride till the lite rain showed up. 
Is there anyone out there that needs a bike cover? I have one that is heavy duty that came with the Husky and I dont need it since the bikes are garaged. I'll give it away FREE

Jimmy I know you had to be laughing yesterday at SSHD when the guy on the Harley was out there "ham fisting" the throttle before he left the parking lot. Soooo true and what a dork, same as the guy that was telling Mel to put neon lights under the airbox of his bike.  |

Nilly, I did a lot of research into bore and stroking the 9. If you go big (more than 1050) you will have to bore the cases. I would spend money on a body kit and rebuild it for the wife in white. Cheaper and she might go for that or put a body kit on it an sell it. Just a thought. |

Hey Jason, I have a guy who is parting out his bike and has a wrapped header I called dibs on in case you wanted it...might be a cheap option for you. The core option is 10% off retail, so a couple hundred bucks...not really a cheap way to go. Let me know if you want me to get more info on it, it sounds like it's in good condition and is already wrapped. |

Goody, I just need a garage! Even under my cover I hate my bike having to live outside!
I liked how that amber color looked...was that the valencia orange you think? Would be nice to run into him again to get a closer look at his bike. |

This is the link to his classified ad, I'm already emailing with him about the header...asked for pics so we can see what condition the wrap is in. He has a race can as well, but not sure if that is spoken for yet. He did not list a price and I have not made an offer yet, wanted to wait and see if you were interested. |

Miami, yes that was the Valencia Orange air box and fly screen. I don't see too many of those. I'm going to try some bold style statements here in a few weeks.

It looked like the one they were selling at the Victory place down on Mercury, 07 XB12Scg in Valencia. I'll ride by there and see if they still have it.
If not, that means he's a Peninsula guy. Should be much easier to track down. |
