Hey guys, new to buell...was picking up my Ss from being serviced at southside today and met someone who suggested I post here to find out about rides. How do I get in on those?

Michael, welcome to the madness. When we do rides it will posted up on here with a time and meet up place. Usually anywhere from 5-10 of us will go just depends on everyones schedule. The 2nd Sunday of every month we try and do a ride up to Richmond for Bikes in the Bottom.

Anytime you wanna ride just post up and I am sure at least 1 or 2 peole will go.

Good choice on bikes ( I love my SS) and any info questions or help you need let us know and we can probably help out with that too. Not the smartest bunch of people on here but we can fix just about anything.

Thanks Jimmy! Wasn't sure if I had to become a member or anything like that...from reading the posts it looks like a pretty friendly group. Just got my bike a month and a half ago and been mostly commuting and doing solo rides, and I do love it! Looking forward to joining in on some rides!

Thanks to all for the suggestions on the primary cover. I had it welded over the weekend. Looks like it might work for now. Missed the Charlottesville ride though!!! I'm going to be converting the buell to a mutant this winter so I will be selling everything unnecessary for the build (basically everything except the motor, tranny, wheels and forks) let me know if anyone needs anything....Thanks again

Hey Mel, I've been riding across the hrbt to Norfolk and VB, also to suffolk and smithfield areas...no destination in particular, just riding. : )

What is Hoss's?

Actually heading out right now for a little night time cruise with my better half...she is very surprised at how much she is enjoying riding bitch!

Update.... 20K "Self" Service going along smoothly. I did everything on the list so far, the only thing left is "Fork Oil" and changing the Break fluid.

Yeah, I'm scared. But, I'm going to finish what I started. I'll let you guys know what happens.

Mel, brake fluid is easy, any questions just ask. The forks I would have someone do them if you really think they need it. Its not a motocross bike, so I doubt the oil is bad. If the seals are leaking, then I would change it. Otherwise, no.

Man what a difference fresh sync oil and new plugs make!!! I'm glad that Bayside is having that Dyno Shoot out... If feels like I gained an extra 10 ponies!
