Hey guys I met 1125RJR yesterday at my first Total Control class in Frederick, Md Jim has a Beautiful white and blue 1125R Buell and really did good with all of the parking lot exercises with such a fast bike. Hi Jim! It was so cool to see you out there riding the 1125R. K

Guys and Gals- Can anyone recommend a good shop/mechanic in Columbus??? My 00 Cyclone up and puked an exhaust stud. I'd try to extract it, but... its the one mechanical issue I've never had good results doing in the past.

So I need a place that can either extract the broken one and install the new one OR drill it out a helicoil it (hopefully with the engine in the bike).

I'm new and haven't made it to a meeting 'cuz I don't want to ride with that kind of exhaust leak. Not riding my Cyclone is killing me...

Any recommendations around Columbus????

It at 36/37 and 71.... Its a bit of a haul from Wilmington, but Mitch likes the Buells and he wants the Buell business.

Tell him you got his name from a COBRA member.
If we support the dealership, they will keep supporting us.

Ninja, the Ninja can be a bit of a challenge even for some of the instructors.... not me... but some... lol

Wolfridgerider- I could give them a try. Do you know Mitch and would you trust him with everything on your bike?

I want it to go where it will get fixed the first time. This is something that had the PO been paying attention and caring for this bike, I wouldn't have to fix it now under my ownership. I'm very anal about maintenance and fixing it right. If you are vouching for Mitch and he can handle it, then I'm good with that.

If their is any hesitation about their capabilities, let me know.

Northstar isn't that far away. I work in Columbus everyday, so it just an extra little jog north at lunch...

If you want to drive the other direction, F&S Buell on the other side of Dayton would likely do good work. Jeff is one of their mechanics and has ridden the wheels off an S1, he knows and loves tubers.

An MSF instructor that owns an S3 and does Riders Edge classes for Aces and Eights said their service shop is good. I haven't used them and don't know. As of last year, their parts inventory was lame (had to order brake pads for me).

That isn't my old M2, is it? Black 00? Forcewinder and Supertrapp IDS? Billet oil drain plug? If so, I hope it's not the stud I already fixed once, my apologies if it was...

Aces and Eights is almost out of business...
I wouldn't go there unless you are shopping for a super deal on a new/old stock Buell.

The last time I stopped in, they had more Buells on the floor than Harley's... it that tells you anything...
