No abuse. I am really easy on my bike. I think maybe the busted shock put some strain on the belt, what with all the bouncing up and down. Each time I asked them to see if they had a Sportster belt (then I had to convince them they are the same part) and the answer was no. Has anyone here dealt with Cowboy H-D in Beaumont? I'm about 90% certain that I want to buy a bike (actually two) from them, because the deal they're offering looks really good. I just want to make sure they're reputable and that it's as good a deal as it sounds before I commit. I am a soldier stationed at Fort Polk, LA, currently living in beeeyoootiful downtown Baghdad. I'm only a couple of hours away from Houston, (I can do it in less than two hours in my wife's Prelude, but don't tell her I drive her car like that!). The Cowboy salesman has got a 2003 Blast for $3500 and a 2003 XB9R for $7500. If y'all know anyone that can beat that, please let me know. I am definitely interested in getting both bikes new. Thanks. You can get a better deal there. as far as I am concerned for the hassles of dealing with the stealers,,, ( dealers) It would be worth it!!! But thats just my opinion. OH AND THANKS FOR PUTTING UP THE FIGHT FOR ALL OF US THAT SLEEP SAFE IN OUR BEDS DUE TO PEOPLE LIKE YOU!
