Author Message   Nillaice Posted on Friday, March 20, 2009 - 09:34 am:        i was thinking right after work, or late at night, so i show up when everybody is waking up. do you wanna throw our bikes in the back of my truck? it'll get MUCH better mpg's w/o the trailer i presume you'd rather not ride due to your uncomfortable saddle. Well we've got room for 7 comfortably. (It's a big ass truck) Triton 4.6 L V8 so there should be no issues pulling the trailer... Only one small issue..... I need to replace a tire. I put on the spare last night because i wasn't comfortable with the way it looked. Now I don't want to start this weekend without a spare. So could you guys pitch in, lets say $25 each to help offset the cost of the tire for me? No big deal if you can't, I just wasn't prepared to have to put a tire on this monster before taking this trip. My brother has once again thrown his hat into the ring. I'll give him until Wed to make up his mind or get his kitchen pass... which ever is the truth?! But Jason, don't let that change your mind if you were thinking about riding with us. He got his kitchen pass and all! He's going to ride down Thursday night. (Unless it's raining.) If we do have to pick him up Friday morning, he's right at the intersection of I85 and I95 anyway. (bringing our own bed!) So that frees up one. Plus we have several other "Twin" size air beds we'd be happy to pack for some of the single guys if we run into bed space. Tawana is going to be upset with this. Now I am going to have to make it up to here when we get back. She asked about bringing the kids, but we agreed (after I told here how it is) that this wasn't the place for them. I think it is a little too dangerous to have a 7, 5, and 3yr old running around there. Also, Is anyone bringing there bike over tonight? Just call me at home(271-8623) or on my cell (773-209-0354). if I don't answer, I am probably on the bike and heading home. (my current cell doesn't have earphone to attach to bike, that sucks). I plan on being home around 5:30 so I can wrap my pipes and wash the bike before it rains. Hopefully it holds off till tomorrow, so I can get it done and in the trailer.   Nillaice Posted on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 - 10:42 am:        a guy i served with is on deployment again, and our wives became great friends on the last 8 month deployment. so when we get back from this we'll return the favor and give his wife a needed break from her 4 little terrors. she's got 5 year old twins; smart enuff to know it's wrong and how to get away with it. they make me yep, bikes are not condusive to kids. OBX last year was proof of that. also strapping my kids in car seats for 20 hours in one weekend is not something i'd wanna endure.   Xb12rdavid Posted on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 - 01:15 pm:        The Ironic part is that Tawana's mother is coming April 22nd, even though we tried to get her to come earlier.
