i really don't wanna tow with my truck again.

MBVI is march 26-29
Mike reserved a cabin for 22-29 for just over 1K
room for 10 total in the cabin |

my bad, read too fast and only saw Mike and Tank talking. Are you going? I plan on going, but can't do the 22-29, I would probably be able to do the weekend. |

well, i thought i had that entire week off, but i could not have been more wrong. i guess i'll be trippin' it on two wheels just for that weekend.
i was very disappointed when i found this out today. the boss-man's words of "i'm sorry, but there's nothing i can do" were sincere but don't help cushion the let-down.
i was sooo amped up about a week of georgia back roads, as i'm sure you all understand. i will definitely not try to ride a week's worth of thrills in just a weekend.
last time was more than enuff thrills than i could have bargained for ... and then i went off into the gravel. |

Well, i was plannin on turnin in a leave request since we arent going till April, but when i asked, i got told most of the stuff for are WTI will really begin the last week of march, so there is deffently no way for me to go 
man, everything i try to plan for this yr has just hit a brick wall |

68 days til'... and i'm gettin' excited about this all over again.
i'd like to lay it all out so we can all get there and back as smoothly as possible
lets re-cap:
tank, mike and ______? are trailering down for the entire week. i'm guessing with tank's trailer? ... which can fit __ bikes?
jimmy, and becky are trailering it as well, but just for the weekend. leaving friday night? with a __ bike trailer?
i can only do the weekend. leaving friday afternoon headed to the 'HRH H.A.H.', and coming back sunday day. i'll ride, but i'd like the option to trailer. i'm in, regardless.
eric is in for the weekend. will you be mounting up, or tying down?
mel is a 'maybe', but will be on 2 wheels, both ways due to costs.
david is still a 'prolly', for the weekend. trailered, preferably? ... especially since you have one... that fits 4 bikes, and not one more.
dwight is a 'hopefully' for most likely just the weekend. trailered or throttle-locked?
myron is out, defending our freedom to make this excursion.

OKAY, so tonight i crunched some #'s, and came to a conclusion: given a towing vehicle that gets 10 MPG,
if there's 5 of us trailering together, the cost of gas is equal to riding on 2 wheels.
not to mention saving your pirelli's, and a grueling 10 hours awake in the saddle.
and with just 4, you'll be paying for the commodity, and tire wear.
so there'll be 9 beds for HRH in the cabin.
my camping at T.W.O. is not regretted, and only a 12 dollar fee, as i recall.
any one else in? speak up! |

if cash is a prob i will be more then happy to add funds to be trailered down and back i dont mind riding but if i can trailer then that would be good just let me know. but i am still a hopeful will confirm by the end of FEB. |

if i can go (looks like it now) sould no more in a week or so, i can use my dads trailer and take 2 bikes. but i plan on going for the week..but dont count on it as its a few days before i would leave for AZ... |

Ok... Add two more for the 27th and 28th. Wifey is coming down with me to sit on the porch while i ride. So, I guess that means I'll be trailering instead of riding down and back. Unless I can stow my bike on somebody else's trailer for the trip down. |

Okay guys it sounds like a lot of a interest is being shown for MBVI, lets get a decent head count of who and when so we can figured the accommodations without and conflicts or hardships. the cabin has room for ten people. I'm sure we can find some room on the floor but the lease was worded at not over boarding the cabin.
