Author Message   Sanchez Posted on Saturday, February 07, 2009 - 05:11 pm:        Finding a camcorder with an analog input is tough. I actually have two of them, a Canon ZR-80 and a Canon ZR-200. I bought the 200 because I thought the 80 was dead, but the 80 just turned out to need head cleaning. Now I use an Oregon Scientific ATC-2k. It's a self contained unit that writes to an SD card, so it's a lot less hassle than the camcorder setup. If you want the zr-80, just send me a few bucks to cover shipping, and it's yours. You'll need to find a charger for it since I only have one between the two cameras, but other than that, it's in good shape.   Duc_htr Posted on Saturday, February 07, 2009 - 05:48 pm:        Sanchez I had a ZR60, tape won't eject. Got home, shut it off and the fan stopped almost immediately. Battery tested at 11.1. Jump started it, battery was not charging.... UUUUUGGGGGGGGGhhhhhhhhhhh... I start traveling the first week of march. Got a few stories from the week I wanted to share. Wednesday night I was leaving work. Rain was close so I was blowing of some steam and whipping around pretty good. Pulled into a gas station to pick up some BC powder for Shannon. As I got off a cop pulled in with lights blazing. He came over and asked if I was running from him. Fearing loss of freedom and being the gentleman that I am I turned on the sweetness. T: "No sir, I would not even think of it!" C: "You did not see me turn on my lights." T: "No sir, I apologize I did not." Admittedly it is somewhat difficult to see what is behind you when you do not have mirrors nor look over your shoulder unless you want to move sideways. Anyhow, allegedly I did not come to a complete stop a few turns back. I felt that my behavior after my quick stop was more worthy of attention. But apparently I was able to get away from him quick enough that he did not get a good look. Last night I was headed out to the state botanical garden for class. I got behind a scooter putt putting along. I was not in a hurry so I sat up and was just putting along behind him. My bike was acting like a retarded caged bull. It is still surging, spitting and sputtering at low RPMs. So as we got out of town I had had enough. I got a fistful of throttle and blew by on the inside of the right lane. Should have felt like an @55 hole because the guy probably pooped himself. But admittedly I did grin. So I pull up behind the building, take my lid and gloves off and fire up a cigarette. I look up and here comes the scooter. The guy gets off and introduces himself. He was the professor for the night!   New12r Posted on Friday, February 13, 2009 - 06:15 pm:        Stealth, too funny. Sam and I are trying to arrange a babysitter for Thursday. I wont get out of work till 4:30 or 5 depending on the load and the mood boss man is in. Example, we get off work at 3 on Fri, stayed to help finish up a couple things till about 3:15, boss talked till 3:45 and really was not done talking yet but told us to get out. No big thing because I see bigger things in the future. Shelley got hers, mine had to be rescheduled for Saturday.   New12r Posted on Saturday, February 14, 2009 - 11:25 am:        Anyone got a blast muffler laying around? I got hooked up with a guy around the corner with a blast that has a blown head gasket, looks like the top of the muffler blew out and the bike was running LEAN, so the damage now is piston, rings, cly, muffler. Another blast project that should take a couple hours turning into a 3 week adventure...
