Dude, I'd have to utilize next payday's allowance and get an advance from the mid-Feb payday's allowance!!!! I gotta go try to win some money back...everything is going well, so far. I gotta check with one of my friends, but we may be partying it up V.I.P. style at the Palms tonight. Club Rain, Club Moon, Ghostbar, and The Playboy Club, one cover, V.I.P. bracelet thing, no waiting in lines at the door...should be a fun time!!!!

How's this for statistics Bishop? My last post was number 3500 for the group and with this post, we are just 8 post away from eclipsing DC-VA-MD Buell Riders.


You guys have been one of the most active storm fronts lately. There are four storm fronts that stand out as the most active, NEBO, HRH, C3 & 3%.

Wow... you're right, that was funny!

Thanks Carlos! We like to have fun. I wish that we had a video camera rolling when we were at the Hooters in DC last weekend. That was the stuff sitcoms are made of.

I think the only thing we like to do more then laugh is ride! And I think this board is a great reflection of that. I tell you what is really impressive... When folks post up here out of the blue, I was shocked to see Court post on here. (Great advice, don't get me wrong) but I was like... whoa!

(I think I actually stuck my chest out a little when I saw that) It was an honor to know that even though they don't post, there are a lot of eyes on HRH.

When the weather clears we will have to get together and ride. I know Rubberdown wants to make another OBX run and I would not mind checking out OBX Bikefest. Maybe we can get together then. Heck, Kristi and I are always looking for a destination so we may just pipe up when the weather clears and head your way.

i dunno if our numerous posts is such a good thing... maybe it means that we are more computer nerds than we are motorcyclists, or if we talk about riding more than actually getting out on 2 wheels, or prolly that we are more friends than just a handful of buell owners. yeah, i think that's it

i know i for one have been on here alot more than ever since buelltoberfest... for some reason.

Hey,
speaking of parties, I mentioned to Matt that I was going to have a superbowl party. If I did, how many people would be able to make it. I will have some Marines from my shop, so don't get scared. But a head count might ensure that we have enough food (and yes, it is a Family affair). I plan to get everything together next week when I get back.

We went down last year with Flying Yankee and kinda split up around the Outer Banks HD dealer. FY and his group went looking for refreshments and we just kinda checked out the activities around the HD shops and took our fair share of demo rides before grabbing lunch and heading home. It was kinda spread out over a large distance an there seemed to be a lot of restaurant support and activities to be had, but it would be a stretch to call it a mini Myrtle Beach. I had fun and am not opposed to going again there is always good food on the OBX. I hope this helps. We had I think about six or seven of the HRH group down there.

The HD dealer on 168 was a ZOO!
The trip was fun though! I ended up staying the night at a hotel, partaking of my favorite beverage at the bar across the street, and heading home the next day.

Thanks guys. Carlos mentioned the two of us going and staying the night. My enticement would be the ride, dinner at Awful Arthurs and seeing other Buellers. Not so sure the rally is my thing, but might be a good side event.

Thanks Mel! I remember seeing those pictures, but didn't realize they were from the OBX weekend. I love the picture of the two girls on the beach. And who couldn't love the picture of a Bueller in a pink hat!

I think Carlos and I will try and make it this year. We will probably leave here on Saturday early AM and stay the night. If I'm riding that far, I want Awful Arthur's for dinner!

I'm sure we'll chat more as time gets closer. Maybe if we're lucky, we can pull off another day trip before then.
