It's a loose format. People usually start rolling in around Thursday to camp out and ride. The actual demo rides run Saturday and Sunday. |

crap
my son ( lee - second youngest ) just got arrested. happy new year 
not that this was totally unexpected. He's been driving w/o a lic. for the last few weeks. I've told him a LOT to stop driving and park the car but he's not living at home and ( had ) his own car. sigh .. He's young, hard headed, ..... and in jail.
Ah f%&(* .. I can't say I was any less hard headed. |

I have a complete Direct-link kit for sale for an XB9. Comes with software, case, key span USB adapter, all cables, and ECM already setup. This way you can leave the stock ECM with your bike if you sell it or get some money back for your race ECM if equipped. With the right map it should work for any 03-08 model, but it came from an 06. I got rid of my bike and I don't need this anymore. I can be reached at 6784957127 anytime. I need to sell it so make an offer! |

No kidding! 2008 was a tough year for almost everyone I know either with illness, injury, job loss, jail or worse, death of someone close.
I, myself, have been pretty lucky. Still have my job, my freedom and am physically mobile without requiring anyone's assistance. 
I hope EVERYONE has a better year in 2009. |

Charley, how's sam feeling ?
I told lee when he had his lic. suspended "don't call me when you get arrested ( + parent speech ... )" and he did'nt. He's out now though .. he's friends bailed him out. He does have a good set of friends.
well .. now he'll have to sell his car to pay his fines .. he won't be driving for a while anyhow.
Charley .. you or glitch interested in that old XL650 ? I'm not going to restore it but I want to find it a good home. It was running when I parked it but it's been sitting outside for a few years and was parked with a few bit's messed up .. needed a top end rebuild, chain, new handle bar and lever's when I parked it 10 years ago .. been outside for the last 2 .. It's a true project bike if anyone wants it. I'll even deliver.
well 2008 was a messed-up year for me .. a few highs, finally got the buell and some big low's .. my father passed this year .. lee was locked up ( twice ).
2009 will be a better year |

Between work, relationships, and a broken bone, 2008 started out pretty badly and went downhill until July or so. It finished strong, though, and I can't complain. |

Looks like we will be spending the weekend in the hospital at the new year again....
Sam is alright but they keep sending her home only to have her return a day later, this was the 4th trip to the ••••••• er because these stupid ••••••• doctors cannot competently diagnose a problem.
I really feel we just kept getting pushed off because we don't have INS.
The only good news is since I have lost 15k in income over the last two years we are now living in poverty and qualify for assistance.
Everything in the barn is going for sale, I will be compiling a list and prices tomorrow. |

Does not look good for us.
They have FINALLY scheduled an endoscopy for tomorrow. Sam has been vomiting all morning again so they called in a gastrologist.
Well I was holding out hope, Uly needs to go. I cant get what I owe but I will leave the tag and ins. till I finish paying it off to get the title to whomever buys it. $7000 OBO. All stock with the exception of the remap by Xopti. |
