I dont know about ya'll but Im still recovering from flu/cold. This sucks. Scott welcome to the group, looking forward to riding with you. Gasp...today? geez, it's only gonna be like 75! I promised my dad that I would come to my Grandma's to hang out. But I should be back by like 3pm. I don't know if anyone wants to start out that late. but since no one has put up any details... anyway, if you hooligans decide to head out, send me a txt with the details. Being a HOG man himself, I'm sure he'll understand! Heck, i might even take the Scg to GM's and try to leave from there. who knows? |

Phil,
must be nice to be off on Monday, the weather looks like it is going to be perfect. Any, I hope the weather holds out till the weekend.
As for my bike, I think I have made my decision. I am going to file an insurance claim to get the Swing Arm fixed and get that done in Jan while I am on travel. 2 weeks should be enough time, and then I want to put some new tires on. They don't look bad, but might aswell get it all done at once. |

Mel, I found some great stuff if you want to fill the dent in your tank, it is called Devcon Aluminum Putty. I am working it on Becky's bike and you cannot even tell the frame was dented, this is some tuff stuff.

any body got a sand/media blaster? i was gonna go to the auto-hobby shop on base, but the portsmouth's and norfolk's cabinets are broken.
Jason, when you get your rims powder coated, you can use mine for the down time if you wanna.  same offer goes to any one else for this down time. |

Thanks Jimmy, but I'm in no rush to fill my dent just yet. I think I'm just gonna throw on a set of Denso Iridium plugs for my 15K and go get it dyno'd to see what I've got. I'm more focused on performance now for some reason. Shoot, I've been too busy riding it to even wash off the dirt and grime! (I guess I should find some time to do that too) |
