At this point, I am very happy with the Uly,
cause the CR is WAAy too much bike for me too.

Tank, yes HD customer serives said pipes, SSHD said becuase its not factory it voids warrenty, even though the air cleaner is HD and the parts were installed by HRHD. ITs a load of bs. HRHD wont fix it becuase i didnt get my 10k service done. As the service manager said, it might have been caught at that interval..but imo its ALL a load of BS! all i did was ride the thing.

Thanks for the truck/trailer, but i got a truck finally, so i can get it home, but it will probly be in peice becuase i dont have the money to get it fix at the moment and i dont have the money to leave it at SSHD. BUT i will be writing a letter to HD and calling the NHTSA (national highway traffic safety administration) on the matter and tell them of a very bad design on the intake system.

Sorry for the long response and the bitchin but im just very unstified with how im getting treated on the matter. Also a few people at SSHD know of my situation and also say that its bs... ok enough bitching for one message..

Myron, Did SSHD install your pipes for you? If so when you talked to them did they inform you that they would void your warranty? If not then you may have some ground to stand on, if they did tell you and you put them on anyway then you might as well bend over and grab your ankles cause you are F&#(%D!! My buddy had something similiar happen when he had an exhaust installed on his yamaha, after fighting them for a while and talking to a lawyer it came to light that the dealership did not inform him that the pipes would void his warranty and presto yamaha humbled themselves and fixed the bike. Not sure if the laws are the same nationwide but in good ole WV they have to inform you in writing if an accessory will void your warranty, so things like this do not happen.

Other than that how the hell is everybody doing, I just got off of leave and man are my batteries recharged. It was colder than a well diggers ass in WV but got to do some hunting and see the family, happy belated Turkey day to everyone. If it warms up next weekend lets do a ride the 1125 is in the shop getting the speedo replaced but the xb is ready to roll.

Well enough from me I will go ahead and shut my piehole for right now.

Just for openers....the 1125CR is right up my alley but its to HEAVY for what I wanna do with a bike. Super Moto!!!

I'd love to see Buell experiment with the Blast motor and bump it up to at least 650cc and in a SuperMoto frame or a Super Single race form other than its current offering. It has potential and dont get me started about Buell and Harley Davidson service support

I duuunnnnooo folks...the KTM 990 SMR is looking pretty wicked...YIKES!

I'll give Erik Buell this, at least he went to Rotax (Austrian), for the Helicon engine, its living up to its name, gotta hand it to the Austrians, they make good muscle as in Rotax/KTM. hehehe

Just to give you guys a heads up at SSHD they have an 1125r demo bike if you want to go down and give it a ride it is well worth it. a great bike.

Just FYI, SSHD is fixing the bike, costing me 1150. and finish painting the bike, not that i want to pay it but, its alot cheaper than going the performance route. So i just have to save money and pay off the credit card before any more parts are bought for the bike..

thanks man, but i got it whittled down to just a peg, a puck and bars as far as parts goes (RAH7777's delivery pending). i still got bodywork/swingarm sanding/painting to do, and of course every ones favorite; an electrical gremlin. self inflicted, no less
step 1 is to get it over to my buddy's garage. the living room is not such a good idea if i wanna stay married.

let us know when/if you ever get your clubmans.
i'm gonna buy some 7/8 tube, and weld up another set. found a place on-line after a fruitless search of hampton roads for a metal shop that has it.

The 990SMR is a 2009 and a half bike. It isn't here in the states yet. However they do have the 950 SMR which is similiar but without the engine upgrades/bore. The bike that everyone is waiting for is the 690 Duke and 690 SMC. The SMC is super light and wicked. Im waiting around for a while to see where all these new machines go as far are performance and reliability. Goody

Hey you guys...how many of you have done the Sweepstakes run to the local HD dealers. I did all 3 in the area last month and got my wooden nickels. I stopped by HRHD last night and they gave me a $20 gift certificate. You get one for each month (Dec,Jan,Feb) and they can be used for any local HD dealer. Im gonna save mine up and go down to Southside to use them. Just a thought if you haven't done the run yet. Its pretty easy and free money for $$$$$ goodies. Goody

Well got the 1125 out of the shop today and to my surprise they put an 09 speedo onto it so now the bike tells me what gear it is in SWEEEETTTT!!!!

Nilly,,,,no catch...you ride to 3 HD dealers in the area, get your wooden nickel and when you have 3 of them from 3 local dealers they will give you a card with Dec, Jan and Feb on the bottom. You show up and they give you the gift certificate for each month, (not all at once and they punch the card as you complete each month), 1 per month listed. Its no gimmick, I have the gift certificate on my fridge...waiting for next month and then February and take all 3 to Southside for some Buell stuff. ITS FOR REAL. goody
