Frank, I probably ought to talk face to face to ya about this, but it seems we are all too busy . So here it goes! I am not sorry! I am not pleased! I will never buy a Buell again, due to the freakin headaches that owning a American bike can cause!! You Frank should have never been caught in the middle of this and for that I apologize! Central Harley has no right being a Buell (or Harley for that matter) Dealer due to the dumb f*ck help they hire as parts people, dumb asses that should be working as Wal- Mart greeters NOT professional parts guys. Damn how freakin stupid do you have to be to realize that the reason you are not selling parts or apparel is due to the fact that your floor help is dumber than shit!! If the shop help wasn't decent, I really believe that Central would really have a hard time existing in the real world of SERVICE!!!!! }Now here is how it is----I called Buell, a women by the name of Jesica Willis took my VIN. # and said that all my parts are ready and can be shipped as soon as MY DEALER calls for them. I asked if the shipping was a problem?? She said NO! Your parts Mr. Fischer could be shipped within two to three DAYS!!!!!!! My next bike will most likely be something OTHER than a Buell!!No MORE!!!! Whew! | ||

Paul, Sounds like you could have had better luck taking it to blue springs at least they do have a very good bunch of guys that work in parts there.I have ordered Buell parts ie; a front shock bracket and got it in 3 days or was it 4 days because it was during a holiday.....it's not that buell is screwed up it IS the parts department at Central, you say you need a buell part and their parts dept. act like you asked for them to kiss your ass or lick your sack or something...I remember awhile back I went in to buy isolators and was told they didn't have them but could give me something that would work for a sportster that would work I said no thanks and had to go get the part # from Frank gave it to them and was told they didn't have those part # either,that's when Frank came up I told him what they said and he rolled his eyes and went back into the parts dept. bins and 30 seconds later came out with my parts.Now how is it that a mechanic out of the service dept. can find a part but a parts person can't do the job..Shit if they would pay better I would take the job straighten out the part dept. myself and make the parts dept. be a parts dept. not a dead end... | ||

I have to agree with the other guys on the Central Parts staff. If it wasn't for the short 5 minute commute to Central from my house I would shop elsewhere. It amazes me that there is such a lack of knowledge with a minimual amount of product???? The other motorcycle dealers in town have to be familier with jet skis, generators, mowers, sport bikes, dirt bikes, cruisers, and touring bikes, not to mention all of the different accessory lines they carry. But the Central Harley parts staff only needs to be familier w/ a small assortment of Harleys, and a couple of Buells. How many engines are we talking about, a handfull?? Its pretty scary to see a parts guy struggle when you ask him for an oil filter for a Buell S2. Frank, I've always appreciated your help, but those parts guys need some training. | ||

DAve here from the SLAB. Just remember that this is not just one dealership in KS. It's a disease within the H-D dealership network but they don't see it that way. Many at the dealership see Buell as the nasty lil japanese wannabe bike. They haven't had to give a shit about selling a line or securing a customer relationship. (Speaking big picture here) Luckily I've found that most dealerships have a couple people that get Buells and are interested. Franky being one. I feel your pain. We have 3 Buell dealers within 70 miles of me. Can't say any of 'em are any more than Harley-Davidson ... oh yeah...and that Buell thing too dealerships. DAve | ||

Dave,not all the Harley Dealers have the disease of NOT KNOWING,CAREING,OR WANTING TO GET INVOLVED IN THE BUELL WORLD!Topeka,Joplin,Waterloo,Modesto are just a few that come to mind.The problem is the parts guys dont GIVE a FLYING F*CK about BUELLS parts or other wise.It takes to much effort to look up parts and give help,they would rather pick their noses or play grab-ass.I guess the next time ,if ever,I try and get a part from lets say CENTRAL,and the parts guys are total dipshits,I will have to ask them why they have shit for brains and cant do their jobs but rely on others who work there to do it for them. Paul,man if you let this Recall stuff mess you up DONT.The OTHER Bike manufactures ALL have similar issues,some worse,as was shared with us by Eric at the Open House.But If you are looking for an excuse to trash mouth Buell,I guess now you have one! Sam congratulations on your ENGAGEMENT!I guess that once again PROVES there is someone for anyone!Hey Sam if you want to make you wedding date mean more........you know what you got to,or not to do!HE HE. | ||

Paul I think you are going to find out that this problem is Buells. Yes you should have talked to Frank before you peed in his water and slapped him in the face. Heck it took 8 months for Buell to get me a new license plate holder. They do have parts people that are interested in our bikes and need our patience to learn our bikes as frustrating as it may be some times. If we go about it this way they are going to be less inclined to want to help. Aren't we friends here? | ||

SAM dont trust anyone from the government.They have spent years justifying their need or existance.The government seems to thrive on their own circular reasoning.I think sometimes they create a problem so they can then spend time and money trying to correct it. |
