yeah...BUT...after many troublefree miles and gobs of power it WAS worth it.
Only now,with bigger gage battery cables i've got a bottleneck at my positive terminal.It melted away gradually from the battery.
I'm looking now at "Speedcells" brand lithium ion battery packs.They're the next big thing.The lead acid battery is dead. |

i got plenty of tinkerin' planned for the winter, but motor work is not on the list.
low budget stuff only.
had i known we would have this little warm snap i wouldn't have hoisted it up and pulled the wheels. i've been kicking myself in the ass for this one. i'm sure when i get the wheels back next week temps will be in the teens. |

I did my bad weather riding at HH4...200 miles of puckering on Saturday.
I've had my fill and pressed my luck as far as I dare (especially chasing Hammer down all freakin day).
Lots to do around home...
