Awesome weekend! I exorcised my speed demons Saturday and chilled out Sunday. I got some freaking sweet pictures, and the weather was so nice when I got back to TWO that I just laid down in my tent and napped for a while.

It's good that I wasn't railing down 60 on my way home because I rounded a blind corner and found four items of note:

1) A cruiser on its side pointing the wrong direction in my lane
2) Another cruiser on its side pointed in the correct direction under the guard rail
3) Two confused looking riders
4) A Mazda Miata facing the wrong direction parked in my lane with the driver and his son getting out to help the bikers

I pulled over, got off my Ulysses, and took charge as Crash Director. I sent the kid up around the corner to flag down traffic, then helped the guys lift their bikes and get them started again. One guy's shoulder looked rashed up. I could see that through the holes in his t-shirt, of course. He could raise his arm over his head with nothing more than soreness, though, so I sent him on his way.

I made it home safe, and my neighbor just delivered some home made apple cake, so the day couldn't end much better!

It was great to see everyone. When do we get to do it again?

I'm home, and woke up a little bit ago from a needed nap. I fell asleep in a chair on the back porch.

I would have liked to have done more riding over the weekend, but my back wasn't being cooperative. Even with my sore back, I had a good time.

I couldn't tell you had a sore back when we road together Saturday.You gave that strange looking guy on that 117hp V Rod a severe trashing!
It was good to see the whole gang and really made my year when I got hugs from some of the lady 3%ers.
I'm with Fran,when do we get to do it again?

I only rode Sat. and Sunday did one demo on the 990 Super Duke, and that was plenty to keep my happy!

Who's the Resident Meteorologist at Badweb? April would be warmer but rain might be more likely. The weather this weekend made up for the rain at the last two MB's.

I just wish I lived about 250 miles closer to N GA than I do now. 5 months to MBVI and counting...

Well if March Badness is going to be structured the way gossip has it I vote for

Yeah, I thought about you guys while I was doing my linear algebra homework on Saturday night... I was bummed.

I will NOT take 2 classes in one semester again... this is a biotch! 2 classes, 40 hours/week at work, and a 20 month old does NOT leave any spare time in one's schedule.

We had that conversation one year.
IIRC it had to do with the Demo Truck's schedule.
We have less input now then ever with regards to March Badness.

Amy made that cheesecake? OMG! It was fab! It's actually my most favorite dessert with apple pie coming in a close second.

Well if March Badness is going to be structured the way gossip has it I vote for April Buell's Day, too!

If anyone can confirm or deny the gossip, it would help the rest of us plan. C3 Central is booked for the first week in April, but we can find other arrangements. I'm sure we could rent the lodge, mobile home and camp in the 3%er's section. We have a large tent and the small one we brought for Glitch's boys.

We'll just stay with B!tch in Charge. Between Oldog and myself, Danny wasn't given much choice of his destination once he was released! He can fuss at me later

As always, we had a great time with you guys. Wish we'd had more time together. Of course, I think we say that each time!

And now, thanks to T.W.O, the 3%'ers, the C3 crowd and the KTM demos, I've got two little Glitchlings that have the fever BAAAAAAD.
Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to bring them!

It was so great to see everyone again!

Russ, you were certainly missed. We still have your folding chair that you left at Badness in March. We said we should have taken it with us and take a picture of it in the circle 'round the camp fire. A "wish you were here" moment.

I'm looking forward to March Badness, (or whenever, whatever the hell it will be)when we can see everyone again.
