Ok, here is what i got planned so far
going to be leaving friday morning and rolling in sometime in the afternoon. And depending on if i get leave till the following monday will dicktate what time we leave sunday. when we get out there im thinking of just camping, cheap easy and be fun  im taking my dads enclosed trailer for me and jason. Im thinking of just camping at the TWO camp site. Matt(04Blaster) is still not sure if he can go, but im still putting salt in this "wound"..hehe. other than that im not sure who all is going. If we get atleast one more person, that is saying matt's going, we can use his open trailer and just drive down. if not we can rotate who is on there bike, so everyone is not as tired.
Talking with Mike, he says that him and Jimmy & Becky are going down. just not sure on there details, so i wont make any facts about it, that and i dont know all of them. SO i will let them chim in on that.
if anyone wants to head down with me and jason just let me know and we can work out the details. |

okay, i really REALLY wanna go. especially cuz i haven't been to the dragon yet., and it's only a hour or so away form suchess. i procrastinated all last year, and promised my self i'd go this year.....it's now the end of summer, still have yet to go.
i doubt the wife and kids will wanna go camping only for me to not be there all day......sooooOOOOooooo, can i pretty please tag along with you and jason? (work permitting) |

how can i pass up the opportunity to bed down in the wilderness with a big strong marine, you know how us navy guys are..
no, i don't have my own tent. i'd go buy one, but since your offering your dad's...
i do have my own sleeping bag.
only big nuff for one, but we can zip ours together...for warmth, ofcourse
but seriously, i hate to be a mooch. lemme know if there's anything else we'll need/i can do.
(work permitting) this is all still up in the air but i'll find out my schedule on monday. prolly won't be able to roll out with yous guys friday morning, i can tell you that right now. |

Can't wait to see some HRH folks on the mountain! Let's hope we have better weather and more time to visit than we did in March. I'll probably be hanging around T.W.O., so if you see my old white Suburban parked out front, come and find me!
You guys are all invited to come to C3 each night for porch time. Carlos and I will be heading out Thursday at the crack of dawn and hope to be in Suches by 2 p.m. or so.

we can fit 5 guys in my truck, 6 if one's a midget (no offense, you two guys are cool in my book)
the more guys we can cram in, the more guys that can split the gas money BTW, i get 16 mpg's
we can put 2 bikes in the back of my truck if i take out my tool box. just one if i leave it in.
how many bikes can we fit on this trailer?
myron, didn't you say your dad was coming with us?
i'll be getting off work friday at 3 (1500 for all you military folk out-there )
from surry, so a hour commute later, and i can be in p-town... or where-ever we meet up at. |

ok, change of plans for me tonight. i cant make it to hoss's  i have to drive/ ride in a hmmwv..so yea tell me what u guys come up with. mostly a place and time to meet be the best thing to talk about. the trailer im bringing will fit 2 bikes and the gear.. |

so here's the master plan that me, mel and jason figger'd out tonight:
mike, jimmy, becky are heading out friday night (at midnight), trailering their bikes. driving through the night and buelling around saturday, and departing sat. night.
they'll stop at a motel on the way back.
me mel, jason, and myron are gonna pack up all the stuff in my truck (drop it off at my house). mel, and jason are gonna ride out early friday morning and score a sweet campsite spot. me and myron have real jobs, so we will have to leave friday afternoon from my place to meet up with jason and mel. we'll take david's enclosed trailer with us. THANK'S DAVID!! our 2 bikes in the trailer and all the gear in the back of my truck. camping out and buelling until sunday morning. we can fit 3 bikes in david's trailer, and one in the bed of my truck. all the gear stuffed in the truck bed and/or in the trailer with the 3 bikes.
i got a cooler (2 sqft) and 2 tie down straps. my sleeping bag and tools in the tool box.
so what are we doin' for eats? if we are gonna eat "camping food" we'll need to get some hot dogs and buns, pork n' beans, marshmallows, hershey's bars, graham crackers and beverage of choice.
we CAN cook everything on a campfire. i'm sure there'll be a restaurant near if we really don't wanna cook.... but c'mon, IMO if your gonna go campin', do it up right!
.... ooooohh, OOOOOOOHH! how about some MRE's?!?! maybe the devil dogs can "hook-it-up"?
i'm getting really amped up about this as it gets closer, and closer!  |

and if any body else wants to go, i can take out the tool box to accommodate one more bike. we will have plenty of room under jason's tent(parachute) and we can do 5 in my truck or rotate on a bike if the truck cab is too cramped. |

Yeah, there is. T.W.O has a lil restaurant they operate. I'm all for packing up the beens and franks to keep the cost down, plus the line is long and the seats are few at T.W.O |

ok, guess since david is letting us use his trailer, i will tell my dad that we wont be using his...
food, hmm..whos got the stove and stuff for cooking? i know my dad has 2 just have to get them out and make sure they work..

stove? we don't need no stinkin' stove!!
a fire will do just fine, and it makes the food taste all smoky too but a stove is a little bit easier to use for cooking. |

Hey Matt... I'm gonna bring a gas can with some Premium in it. The way their talking, Premium may be a little hard to find in the mts of GA.
Anyone else have some cans they can bring? we might need them! |
