Paul, your string is showing.....

go out and ride.....come back and tell us about it, Some of us are doing without right now and could use the reading! I'm killing time being a post whore and waxing silly-sophical. All my parts are clean and in nice orderly piles waiting to get back on. Wheels came back from the powder coaters and are shod with shiny new pilot sports. I am just waiting on "1" part. The red bike has a wrist pin or lifter issue????? that I don't want to tear into until the white bike is no longer scattered. Learning to do circle wheelies one-handed on a XR50 just isn't cutting it! YES! I am going crazy.

Speaking of powder coating.. I'm getting antsy! Sam where we at? Any chance of picking up the parts this weekend? I will have all the $$. I was hoping to see about dropping the bike off to Frank Saturday morning...? (forgive me I have no idea how long PC'ing parts takes..)

Once again I appreciate all your help!

Derek, should be done by then.

Dennis, wheels look great, will be much easier to clean, and the finish is tough as nails.

Awesome! Will you be around Saturday morning? (fairly early) I could come by and pick it up and square up with you on my way to drop her off at Central? They open at 9:00 I just got off the phone with Frank. He says its cool to drop her off Saturday he is ready. Also what do you suggest for shaving the axle adjusters down with so they fit?

Derek if I'm not around Sat morn. I will make sure Frank has your stuff before then. Axle adjusters looked to have plenty of clearance for paint, I will look at the fit when I pick them up, and if it looks iffy (I don't forsee this) I will fix them here at the shop before you or Frank get them on Sat. deal?

Excellent! If you can let me know how its going down.. I will plan on dropping the bike off sat morning regardless. Then there is only the question of the $$$ Unless of course you don't need it and then I can just go ahead and buy some other fancies with it!

KCBill got the grand tour of the Casa de Bankrupt... he either liked the place or was very polite.

Sharon was less than impressed with me bringing home a visitor with no warning... she did not mind having company... but she had her jammies on and was not properly presentable... Oh well!! Having to put up with me.... she should be Sainted!!!

Sam...
I have so many phone numbers... work... work cell... home... small business cell, and personal cell... I don't know which one you have!!! The best overall number is 816-935-5066... call and come by this weekend and I can fix you up with the poprivet tool... and you can get the grand tour too.

Keef...

nice ride... I am glad you are now Buelling... no more questions like the guy in Lawrence who had to know who in the Buell group was riding the sporty... get an engine for it soon... a second bike... or even a third (hint... hint... Sam) is great to have!

Dennis

You need an air lift... here is where Gail probably get them. Frank has one of these, they are made in Marshalltown IA.

http://www.handyindustries.com/airlift.asp

$729 for airlift + shipping or $ 939 for electric + shipping
