Here we go again...the 9sx is on her way back to HRHD. Engine light on again but now I know what it is. The fan gave up the ghost and Im pretty sure its because of the rear rocker box cover leaking oil on it.

Check the triple tree alignment. It's just a thought but it it hit hard enough to move a fork tube it may have just slightly twisted the triple trees out of alignment. Just a thought is to turn the forks to the frame stop on both sides and find a measurement point identical from the top triple tree to the frame and check for difference in distance.

Myron, Mike pointed out to me a XB9SL for sale at Shoreline Auto. I took a look at it today and they are clueless about bikes. They also wanted way too much for it but they want to deal. I was wondering if someone with more XB experience would drop by and take a look at it for a second opinion. I noticed it was dropped. It has small cosmetic scrapes on the frame and one of the turn signals is being held together with scotch tape. It sounds good though. I got the VIN so I will try to see if there is any history with it. The scary part is they can't furnish to me the maintenance history so I don't know if the defects for that model year have been corrected. If anyone could help me out with this, I would be indebted.

X0311..I'll check it out for ya. I rebuild motors and pretty much tear em apart. The only reason my 9sx is in HRHD is because its covered under warranty. However give me a call or shoot me an email and I'll look at it with ya.
I'm in for Poe's this Sunday... as long as they finish with my 9sx by then. They feel pretty stupid right about now anyway so hopefully they will rush it. Goody (aka RoadWarrior) LOL

I've got a race ecm that I'm planning on installing when I get my filter. You can use my stock to see if that solves ur problem or not. heck, if you want meet me before the weekend i'll bring the race and you can try that. Until I get the filter it's just sitting in a box. I think I'll try to be out at Hoss's tomorrow. If you think you'll be there I'll bring it with me.
