I figured someone would have checked my profile by now.
1125R. Got a great deal on a the 08 considering I was upside down on the Sportster. I was able to get the difference knocked off the 1125R Price which I highly doubt I could have done on an 09. I don't think they would have the same incentive to get brand new 09's off the floor right away. |

No. She wants Rocker. Couple years out on it though. I pretty much traded payments on the Sportster for the New 1125R and can't afford to add more cost. one of the reasons I didn't wait for 09.
Good luck on the XB12Scg sale. You should just keep and join our Saturday rides. |

I had a feeling you got one of those Aron!!!! That is Killer! so by now you have put a pipe on it and found that you can completely reinvent the map using ecmspy right? So on a different note, why didnt you married guys tell me how tight and heavy these rings really are? Off to Maui tomorrow, so ill be riding with you all in a couple of weeks! |

I can add scratches to either side, remove the stock mirrors and adjust the bar angles if you want me to.  |

Graham. I have only had it for 22 hours now. Pipe is out at least two months.
Jardine will have one in about 5- 6 weeks for around $500.
D&D I heard is too loud and the other ones available outside the US are like $1200. Too much.
KD Fab is also working on a Drummer but has not committed to a time frame. |

Ohh.. And neat game for the Honeymoon! Get a big bag of marbles and a bucket. Each time you knock one out put a marble in the bucket. Keep doing that for a year. At the end of the year start taking a marble out of the bucket each time. Bet ya never get to the bottom...

Congratulations to the both of you!
Graham, I wish you the best. My wife and I are celebrating our 4th anniversary in New Orleans this weekend. Marrying Shannon was the best thing I have done and I wouldn't trade her for the world. Stopped into JBC the yesterday and drank up some of your wonderful beer. You kick ass.
Aron, right on! Does that mean you will be taking it to the track? That bike hauls! Can't wait to hear the new exhaust when you throw it on. |

For my own bittersweet news:
I have decided to sell my STT. The bike is pretty perfect, but it is just tying up too much capital. I don't have time to do the 10,000 mile service these days and can't afford the dealer service. Plus, it has a year left on the warranty and now is the best time to get a fair price for it. This certainly won't be the end of my riding. My dad has an extra KLR650 he has offered to sell me, so I think that will be my next bike (all the better for our next snow ride, Aron . For those of you who don't know, I quit my full time job to pursue other interests. This translates into working 4 different jobs to make ends meet, but includes more time for teaching motorcycle safety and getting to teach a section of ethics at George Fox University. My plan is to use the cash I get from the Buell to give me a safety cushion in the bank and tag along with you all on whatever bike I have the next time I get a chance! |

I am sorry to hear you are selling the bike. like Paul said we miss you on the rides this summer and yes winter is coming which is Oregons second riding season for some.
Hope you make it out one of these weekends before it gets too cold.
As far as track days I will plan on them next summer. I now need to get leathers. |

I found out yesterday that Buell was running another promotion for August. They were offering $675 of store credit on Buell merchandise, gear etc at participating dealers with the purchase of an 1125R.
So I called my sales guy up and asked why I was not offered the promotion. His answer was, "I don't know anything about it. let me check".
He calls me back and says. "Oh yeah, we are a participating dealer. Come back in and pick out your stuff".
So I got some stuff. Very happy camper. |

Boils down to training. I also had to keep reminding them I only need $25 (also buell promotion) down and not 10% on top of my trade. |

Today's ride.
A 128 mile loop 47/timber/6/8/hagg lake/ laurelwood/baldpeak.
I ended up leading the ride for a small group of spirited riders. The other 22 riders decided to go on a slower ride lead by the Aprilia rider. And I showed up just to tag along for a casual scenic ride. But when I saw how many cruisers showed up I suggested we split into two groups. |
