That's actually the kick start lever. : ) The rear brake lever is on the left handle.

Man, I'm beat. Tally was hot as hell this weekend, but I had a great time. I rode Saturday, and the Ugly Duckling didn't let me down. We had no red flags the whole day.

I had some serious gremlins to work out after my crash, so I put my ego away and started out in novice. They made me bump up after I passed 5 people coming out of turn 1 on the second session, though. I didn't push the pace much. I just relaxed and worked on my form and my lines. My best lap was a 1:15 without really straining. I don't think I even shifted gears or went WOT. I ran one lap all out later in the afternoon just to see what I could do, but they'd taken the beacon down, so I didn't get a time. : (

Oh well, I had fun, I didn't crash, and I got a good baseline for next time. I definitely need to invest in contact lenses before I go out again, though. Coming around the right hander, my line of sight went over the top of my glasses, so all I saw when I looked through the turn were green, gray, and orange blurs.

I need some input on gloves.
For the past two seasons, I have bought some Joe Rocket gloves that were around $40... and both sets have desintegrated similarly.. The palm on the left glove is basically just falling apart. (yes, I know.. I should just switch hands.. but I AM left handed after all.)

So, I need some suggestions on some good gloves. My price range will probably be around the $100 mark (less would be better).

Oh.. I want gauntlet gloves. I don't like the shorter ones.

Damn Buell!
I am so frustrated I could drive that piece of 5hit off a cliff right now.
So I could barely keep it running on my way home from work today.
Stopped a few times to made idle adjustments.
Think I got it to a temporarily ridable level.
Then take off to finish my 1.5 mile trip and the damn back brake fails.
Buell...Frustrating in every sense.
