Nah, it's way off. Not even close. > I thought you had learned your lesson about dragging pegs... Well apparently not because I low sided my Ulysses today doing it for a camera at Gixxer Corner. I've ground the shit out of those pegs for almost two years now without the rear tire even hinting at slipping. I always had a bit of chicken strip left, so I figured I had some tire to spare. As it turned out, I was somewhat mistaken. I leaned into the turn, and the peg scraped and then lifted. I knew there was a camera pointed at me, so I thought "•••• it, I'm dragging this thing all the way around!" and threw it over again. I don't know if I just finally leaned too far or the off camber got me or what, but I must've rolled over the edge of the tire. It felt great one second and then it was falling the next. The suspension might've been partly to blame because I'd been carrying a passenger all morning, and I had it dialed up to 11. Regardless, though, the root cause was my own bad decision to roll on the gas instead of off. I'm not hurt, and the bike's not too bad off. I broke the pegs off the right side and added a couple of new scrapes. The ride home was kind of uncomfortable, but at least I did ride it. Oh well, it's only a little money and time to fix it back up. I'm not even really angry about it. I needed to blow off some steam today, and I did. Jessica and I broke it off Friday morning, and I needed an extended hug, so Michele went out with me two-up today. You've been dragging parts for two years... Each time you've touched down, you've had to go a little bit further each time because of the parts touching down have been getting ground down, it's just this time you had enough ground off to spill. And I was thinking the exact same thing Glitch. Every time you scrape a peg, you take a little length off, meaning the next time you scrape it you are leaning a tad bit further... sooner or later, something is gonna give. Got my radiator installed yesterday in the WRX. Everything went smoothly... almost TOO smooth. Didn't have to do much to bleed the air out of the system.. and that makes me wonder if there is a rogue bubble sitting... waiting... plotting. I have a gallon of water in the car just in case, and I am sure once I get confident that the system is fully free of air, and I take the water out, that bubble is going to spring it's well thought out attack. And those Mishimoto radiators work very well! It's running probably about 20% cooler than it ever has... and it looks cool too! It's all polished aluminum, and the hoses match the car color! I'm so rice, it aint even funny YO! I'm even tempted to put the mishimoto sticker on my car too... Bottom front of the driver's door, just like all the cool kids do! Frank - some plans are changing around me, my work schedule won't change for a few more weeks so next friday is out. Due to a death on my wife's side of the family, my little girls b'day party will likely be cancelled this weekend, so.....if you're free this Saturday, it might be the best opportunity on my end. Tuesday seems to be the day I keep getting hurt, I got stung by a wasp yesterday and the finger swelled up to double its normal size!
