I did see one other once, but talking to Duc at SS, I assumed it was you. He said there were only the two that he knew of. I received ship notice 4/21. Was this e-mail I sent out of line.... "You have got to be kidding. Tomorrow will be one week ago that I ordered this stuff, and it's just now shipping out??? I already drove 50 miles and bought the stuff and put it in the bike, because there was no response from you. I guess now I will have extra on the shelf for the next time that I won't order it from motorcycle superstore." The stuff still aint here. It is two quarts of fork oil, in case you were wondering. Man that Drummer even sounds good in the opposite direction inside the car with the radio on! (Ok... well I guess I made my decision) Bill! It was good to meet you! We did a lot more standing around and talking then we normally do. Usually, we break long enough to get the kinks out our rears, then it's off for the next twist of the throttle. You've got to come out for a "Reservoir Ride" To Yankee & Mike... Thanks man, it was a real experience. I hadn't been there for 15 years, it was good to go back and with good company. Finally, to all the Women of HRH (fella's please pass this on...) If you put the two of us together I dont think anyone can hear anything. I like the D&D but if I had to do it again, Micron full exhaust, maybe the Drummer. I want to see if I can repack the D&D myself. It cant be to hard, cut and weld. I got gas at the first station on the right, after crossing the OBX bridge. I stopped for a hot minute to put on the rain pants at the McD's/gas station on 168.(about 30mi up) The next stop was the gas station just south of the JRB. Ouch! Got on 64 at HRCP, and let the Drummer sing all the way home. Get some good earplug speakers. You'll need them. Oh, across the street from the hotel, was the Kill Devil Grill. Walked over about 6:30 after checking in, to find a very cute 27yo Romanian bartender. Wasn't very busy, so we talked(and I ) until about 10pm. Some local dudes bought me a beer, and I returned the favor, but they gave me the lowdown on the Married Romanian bartender. Ever heard the Jet song "Cold Heart Bitch"...I lived it. It was fun though. I'll go back anytime. She likes going out for a short ride, nothing to long. VA. Beach is about it for her. She would definitely enjoy meeting the ladies. I can ride a loop with Carlos or head to Helen, Blairsville and not be obligated to the bike all day. There's always someone hanging on the porch at T.W.O., so I was never "alone" and Carlos didn't feel guilty about going for a ride and leaving me behind. It was great meeting all you guys (and gals). It was cool seeing all those Buells tooling down together. I'm sorry we got separated, but I hope you enjoyed yourselves at the OBX. I did see some of the HRH squadron bombing around from a distance. I would like to join you guys on exclusive Buell only rides in the future. Stay together as a group and get to know you folks better. So count me in. Duc is trying hard to make Southeast VA the place to go to for Buells. Support him I say and we all prosper with Buell stuff. Mel you could use a few nuts and bolts....LOL I didn't see one Buell sticker, patch or t-shirt this weekend that I could have gotten. According to Latoya (hottie on Nightrod) Duc has the best selection of all 48 of her stores. Im gonna go down there this weekend and snatch up some stuff. ttyl. Goody
