Still not really sure what did it. He was feeling a little sore yesterday but woke up this morning and couldn't move. Had one of those I've fallen and can't get up moments. The doc gave him pain meds and muscle relaxers so he is out like a light now. It was pretty funny watching him get two shots in the booty though....ha!

Anyone else get info on camping?

I picked up Charlie's wheel from Two Bros, so all that's left is for him is brakes, when he picked up the wheel from me, he was headed over to SMHD to pick those up.

Hey kids, has anyone ever taken apart the subframe of a Lightning? I had mine apart last week for paint and a chopped fender, and now that it's back together I can't get the battery tray to sit in the correct position. It's too far forward by about 1/8-1/4", making the seat not latch properly. I've tried loosening and wiggling (as suggested http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/327 77/353544.html?1208482034 :P), but to no avail...

I have off tomorrow and I was thinking of going by Stone Mtn. Buell for a test ride. Does anyone know what the extent of that test ride might be? Do I have to be back in five minutes? Am I limited to around the parking lot? I'd like to try out an XB12s or XB12scg...if they have one.

Bill, maybe I'll have a chance to look at it this weekend. Have service manual, will travel.

Steve, not sure how they do it now, but when I did them, it was a pretty decent ride around the area.

GOSH DARN IT ALL TO HECK. My new tires arrived today, and they're the wrong ones. They sent me Dunlop 208s when I ordered 209s. Grrr, I hope they can cross ship replacements in time to arrive Monday.

Jessica and I are leaving Monday evening. We'll probably just grab a hotel room. If you want to camp, gates open at 4:00 PM.

I will be spending my day hunting down a set of FRONT brake pads. We has some communication issues and i have a brand new set of REAR pads.

Anyone got a spare set of EBC HH FRONTS for the Buell??

Tuesday?? Crapola.. can't swing it on a weekday.. I have a big-ole' project here as work and can't swing the time off.

Had it been a weekend, I could probably have done it.

Oh, I figured something out this weekend.. If you tires have the correct amount of air in them, instead of, say, 20psi.. The bike handles like a friggen dream!
I noticed the front looked a little low, so I checked them... 20psi front and rear.
I put air in them (38 front and rear)... at the next right hander, I almost ran off the road... on the INSIDE!
Hell, now I feel like I can actually ride!
