Wolfridgerider Last year both daughters presented me with new Grandsons. This year nobody's pregnant. I just made a reservation at Heritage Inn and I can't wait till August gets here. I am worried though --- I don't have any Assless Chaps. Can I still be included on the ride? P.S. Does wearing Assless Chaps lead to Monkey Butt? | ||

I havn't had a problem with the Monkey yet. You can still go on the ride but just think how COOL you would be with your assless chaps..... Mayonnaise look cool! | ||

Ed, No worries. I am not am assless chaps sort of rider either. I prefer to keep my ass fully covered...especially around folks like these guys. All this talk of assless chaps has me worried    | ||

Its all talk.............Then again..............Seriously, it is a great time and anyone who attends is sure to see some great roads and be treated to some real down home hospitality. Mark and his folks are the best. Its still the best ride I did last year and hope to have a better time this year. I wasnt fortunate enough to do homecoming and dont see that happening this year either. Ya'll behave. See you soon. | ||

We have over 4 1/2 Months before this rally. My gear "may" be dry by then..... Maybe... I was also told that they are going to build a shower house and restrooms at overflow campground. That will be way cool! (Message edited by wolfridgerider on March 31, 2008) | ||

I'm most definitely in. Mark it was great riding with you in Georgia. I thought it was funny we hooked up without talking about it earlier and ran that great road both with minimal brake use. No wonder we match up so well. A fun ride for sure. Gary - "I got it, I got it, for a good time call" | ||

It looks like its going to be bigger than last year. Hey Carlos. That little run toasted my rear tire! By the time I got to Columbus (after the bearing failure) my tire had 3 bald spots on it. One down the middle (I-71/75) and one on each side (thanks Helen) I have a new tire and bearings in the truck. I should be able to drop them at the dealer for lunch and pick it up on my way home. tater salad! | ||

Talked to the "Locals" last night and was told the road was paved into the camping area, over the hill and all the way down to the lake. They also have installed electric hook-ups for RV's. This just may turn into something..... Maybe Abe will show up and give us a class on Deckelhalters | ||

Its looking good. I can't believe how many people came to MBV. I don't think we will hit those numbers for awhile but we can keep trying. At that point and time the Friday dinner at my folks may be out but there is plenty of local joints for eats & treats... | ||
