If anybody would like to ride down to Racine with me on Tuesday, let me know. I'll probably leave the Milwaukee area about 6:30-7:00ish.

Hey Blastin, drop me an e-mail telling me where I can meet you and the time, I could make it by 6:45 but probably not earlier !! I have no clue where the hotel is and don't want to ride down alone, Char will ride back to Milwaukee with me!!

I'm pretty close to the intersection of Hwy 100/108th St and Forest Home !!

Mike, I don't encourage me to do it, I just might try because you make it sound FUN !!! :)

Jerry,
What time are you leaving your house to head to Hal's? I'll probably shoehorn the S2 out of the garage and bring that down for Wednesday's stuff.
Goatee????? Shoot, now I'm going to have to shave, maybe make it into a VanDyke or something.

All,
The Moorland orange cones were gone late last week. Looks like they finally fixed that bike tire grabber hole on the railroad crossing that's been gaping for over a year now. Should be smooth sailing in and out of there.

And for anyone going to be up around Thiensville this week at Suburban, the road heading north out of town is/was being chip sealed this week so a cautionary heads-up. If you want to head to Cedarburg take Greenbay Road until the regular traffic mushes the chips into the pavement. Perfect timing for the 100th next week, not.

No, you know I won't do it, but he doesn't know me well enough yet to know I'm just being nice, I can't fool you !!! LOL

(Note to self: don't let CJ know I'm paying attention, and bring a tow rope to the B-Trax event.)
(And I never cause any trouble.)

Okay, look for me in your driveway. If I'm there when you're ready to leave I'll ride down with you. If I'm not there I'll catch up at Hal's.

Hey All...Who all is headed down to the Day's Inn on Thursday morning to meet with the visiting Buellers?

Did not make the Hooter's event tonight and would like an update on what has been planned.

Figured I would arrive at the Day's Inn around 8:00 AM, scarf down some nourishment and see the folks as they make their grand entrance/exit. Intention is to help them plan their day, provide directions and take a group through the Kettle if they are interested.

Based on the size of the group today, additional locals would be nice to lead the group in smaller packs. Sort them by interests and riding level. No sense in helping anyone get hurt.

I advised Dana of the meeting time and requested he pass the info along to Spidy and the others. Hope they got the message. Spidy has all the maps (3) and the route sheets (25 prox) CJ printed up.

Please let me know when possible. Will check for the postings up until I leave at approximately 6:00 AM.

Thanks,

CJ...I owe you a public apology for any aggravation I caused you last weekend. We can discuss the details in private, however, I felt like a real fool after learning the outcome of the efforts of many this morning.

Best regards,

Bill

=====
Anyway,
what all happened this afternoon as far as rides and gatherings go? No get-offs I hope. Hope everyone found at least a couple of corners to go around, and avoided any blue-light specials. And I hope everyone has a great time at the dinner later tonight, I can't make it due to other committments.
See you all down at the B-Trax tomorrow morning sometime.

MikeJ...Nothing much, just a lot of friends kicking back and enjoying the day. Headquarters was the hotel and small groups went to breakfast, lunch, tattoo parlor and other places on their own. Just a relaxing day as Dyna predicted it would be.

Originally all the profits from the 20th anniversary poster were going to be donated to Team Elves for use as they saw fit. I spoke with Court yesterday & told him of our plans to still do that & he was very gracious & thanked us but then also asked that we instead donate it to perhaps a local charity instead.

I spoke with CJ last night & we will be donating all proceeds to the Childrens hospital in Milwaukee. They are fantastic people there & will use the money to buy toys & use it in other ways for the kids who end up there. I have done several benefit runs in the past for them & its a great cause.

Looks like right now we will have over $800 to donate...thank you everyone who bought a poster.
I will be setting up a ride so we can deliver the check to the folks up there & will take pics & have more info when its over so all of you can see where your donations went.

Thanks again to all & especially to Court & Team Elves for being so gracious.

Had a great time waving the checkered flag at today's BattleTrax. Got some major sun and enjoyed watching all the various riders and the lines they took through the course.

If you really want to see something interesting, go early to the next BattleTrax and watch them set up the course. Reg explained the process to me as they were doing it and it was really fascinating. Definitely not a cookie cutter process.

Congrats to Shane and Jerry for taking their class again. Also, it should be noted Reg proclaimed MikeJ as the steadiest rider on the course. His times were so predictable (in a good way) that he is a major candidate for the Nationals if they ever do the call your time event again.

Hey Dyna...quit hanging around so much. If I see your scoot one more time I am going to have to be locked up. I can't stand the temptation. I want one to add to my collection!

See y'all during the 100th and at the next Brew City Meeting.

You know you want one...Di would like it too.

Besides I will be seeing you a lot in the next 8-9 days...going to be there pretty much everyday starting wednesday.

PS...Have Di come up with a time that is convenient for her...the wife really seemed excited about her offer.

Dyna...Ping me with Dee's schedule. Have a feeling it is much more stable than Di's. Will coordinate and we can go do guy things while the girls are goofing off.

Yeah, need to rebuild my stable. The X1 stays for now but need to add a HD Styler. A sport tourer, dual purpose motard and a sport bike will follow later. Will consider an XB12R if they pan out. If not...well, we will see when the time comes.
