Hope everyone had a great New Year.

I think it would be best to not have the meeting with this low of a turn out. Lets forget about meeting today and look forward to Thursday February 7th. We can make plans for the Motorcycle Show (IMS) going on that weekend.

Also, show up at the Feb meeting to sign up and pay your dues for 2008! All that sign up will be in a drawing and the winner receives a free track day paid for by the club!

I'll participate in F_Stop's new years resolution.......

I am hosting a Plainfield to Starved Rock MOTORCYCLE ride on Sunday 1/6. It's gonna be 50 so bundle up (or electric up) and let's ride. The group ride will begin at my Plainfield home at 11am. If you are interested, PIM me and I'll mail you my home address.

At this time I have one other partipant and if it ends up just being the two of us then we'll still have a great time without you guys.

Don't winterize it...ride it!

Well it isn't even setup yet. I will let serious buyers test ride it but I'm sure this one won't be here long and I don't want to put a bunch of miles on it. We should be getting a few more over the next 60 days and once demand gets caught up I'll have a demo unit that everyone can ride.

WCC riding brothers,

Just News....
I will be in the exciting cowtown of Omaha, NE Feb 7 through Feb 11 so I will miss the club meeting unfortunately and the IMS show..bummer. Greg I'll get the maps some other time.

Good News....
Paul has me excited about MotoGP in Sept and I'm going to join him. I have also recruited two friends, one of which who knows some fun rides around the Indy area so we can have a ride excursion on our way down on Saturday. It would be great to have some more WCC club members join us.

A ride opportunity:
My brother in law Jamie in Minneapolis has ridden around Lake Superior and we would like to ride around Lake Superior in 2008. For those of you who missed the Lake Michigan Loop last year which Paul Martinez sponsored (that would be everyone but Paul and me) you missed a great trip. Tickets will be purchased for Indy Moto GP and hotel reservations will be made very soon.
We currently have a group of six, if any one else is interested, now is the time to make plans and contact Marc Hickman to be part of it. Looks like just a Sat. and Sunday trip, maybe a Monday return if most want to stay Sunday night.

Pretty funny Sam. What is the wind chill, when you are riding 60mph and the temp. is -5 degrees? Even the hottest grip heaters and Widder gear won't help you much.
Tim and other show goers. I'm going Saturday with two of my kids.
Don't forget your bike key for the Buell display, I think they will give you a 25th anniversay patch free.

I ordered my Moto GP tickets last August. I have a camping site reserved for 4 nights. Not sure of the exact dates. Should be an awesome time.

I have a riding friend who wants to replace his Victory Vegas with the new Buell XB12XT. The XB12XT Touring model with it's lower 30.7 inch seat height is what he is looking for as the standard XB12X is a bit tall for him. Please let me know if you get one in and I'll bring him in or send him over to see it. He'll want to demo one before he commits to buy so when the weather turns good, the demo should seal the deal.
