I freaked when I was going up the drive hit the power band and spun in three gears to the top of the drive. Wheelie as soon as the power comes on weather you mean to or not. That bike is a hoot! So I threw it back together and took a quick spin, but it was dark so.....Its better but I will know more tomorrow. Finally. It seems like it has been a year since my last ride. Took the scenic route through our local twisties up to Lynchburg, TN with 5 others. We had a Hyabusa, a Triumph 675, a Kawi ZRX 1200, a Bandit 1200, and my little ole' Buell. Round trip was 210+ miles. And I can already feel the soreness setting into my lower back... It has been too long. On the way home we met this old guy (maybe in his late 60s) on a Honda V4. He told us of his last long distance trip... He and several others rode to Guatemala, yes, I said Guatemala.. way down in the Yukatan Penensula. He was on a CBR 600. He ended up getting in a wreck on the way back and totalled it. I think he had to ride bitch quite a way back. I love to hear when some folks get to live the dreams like these.   Fran_dog Posted on Sunday, February 10, 2008 - 09:36 pm:        Ok, I'll help out. We don't need a sad day. The 60 looks mean. I haven't ridden a two stroke in over twenty-five years. Yea that's not a miss print; I said twenty-five years. Now I'm feeling old again. I had hoped to get out and ride a little this weekend, but it wasn't in the cards. Why is it that when the weather is nice, I don't have any extra time. And to boot, I've had this nagging sinus head ache too. That's enough belly aching from me. We don't have roads quite like Suches, but most are great in their own sense. We can pull 250 miles out in a heartbeat.
