Looks like the yapping is tappering off now that it's really time to dbl. check the tail bags and top off the tanks, eh? I don't have to bring a gang of tools with me, so I get to pack light. I hope I don't have to kick start the piece of German technology that I'll be riding since I haven't done that for a while. (Guess I'll bring my knee brace.) Tool still not here for buell. The thing I find most odd about this is it takes about 5 days to get my always late buell parts, and this freakin' Sporty tool is at 10 days and counting.( not even counting the 5 or 6 days they forgot to order it!) blaargg .Who cares I say today. Speaking of buying/selling, turns out my adjuster is interested in buying my bike. Told him I'd give him a good deal. I just have to find a good deal on a new 02 or 03 ST. (But there is that FJR I've been coveting, it's just impossible to get one) The 04 Triumphs should be out soon, so if anyone knows of a new older model ST, let me know. See y'all tomorrow. | ||

A view from Windy Ridge. That little cloud at the top of the mountain isn't a cloud. It might be steam, but whatever it is, it's coming from the mountain. That's a troubling thought.  | ||

Another great ride with A LOT of great people, good to see some old faces and meet some new ones too! I had the best time once again and am already looking forward to Border Raid! We made it home no problem, in fact when we stopped for gas outside of Mossyrock, Matt said, "do you wanna trade bikes?" I said, "sure I'll try it!" I ended up riding Mike's Daytona from there all the way to the track in Portland and then home from there - what a freakin' great time that was. That is a seriously fun bike to ride! Code RED did awesome today. Thank you for the prayers, they were answered! He took first place and looked amazing doing it. He did great out on the track, looked smooth doing it too! Hey Uncle Bobbie - Cody needs his pit crew man at the next race, seems someone forgot to make sure he had enough gas in his tank and he couldn't finish the heat race, took last place so had to start on the outside in the final race. He still did a great job and he was even seen practicing wheelie's. HMMMMM sounds just like his Dad doesn't it? Well our entire house is turning in for the night! We are all pooped from what we love to do! Post and let me know you all made it home safe and post the results of Thundercross! ps.... good job Galen! | ||

KIM, it was Deb. Left a skid mark 20' long going into a hard right, the back came around a little too much and Debbie got slapped pretty hard into the ground, WHAM! Hit her left (?) shoulder, and her head bone. (thats fancy x-ray talk!) Snapped the frame slider off, same with the foot peg, BUT all the spendy green parts were unscathed! When I called today about the freaking part I was told, OPPS, WE'VE DONE IT AGAIN! Now the fucking order was lost at Custom Chrome's end. Sure. But hey, not to worry, it will be here by SATURDAY! Plus the girly-man behind the counter showed me the invoice with the dealer price, and can you say 'mark-up'? I knew you could. $33. moves to $69, $13 to $18.
