Incredibly informative post, my new friend!

As far as pricing for the moto dyno, I have no idea. It would be a determination of the owner to calculate the tech's wage(plus taxes, workers comp, etc), the cost of the unit, the cost to operate the unit(electricity, wear+tear, etc), shop equipment, and a partridge in a pear tree...

No worries with a "green" operator, as long as I have the controls of the bike, and she's strapped down good.

As for my car...
...she's been sitting for a while, and needs a little TLC to be legal, but it's a "bandaid" custom turbo with adjustable fuel pressure reg(boost referenced) and a timing retard "black box" on the stock computer. I just don't trust it. Going with a MegasquirtPnP, and getting rid of the bandaids. I want to totally re-do the intecooler setup too.

So at this point you are asking: "what kind of car is it?"

YOU Guys crack me up! I swear, every time I log on to this thing I leave laughing. The more I read, the more I realize... I'm normal!!! or I have found a rag tag group of folks just as twisted as I am! Either way, I'm sure I'm in the right place.

As far as the Dyno pull is concerned, Yeah I'd like to know. Would I pay more then $35-$50 bucks to find out? probably not. Especially since I'm not changing anything. Now if I had a VDTS and a new muffler, I would consider more.

Has any of you guys had their bike Dyno'ed in the past?

I'm curious about this dyno. Back at Ft Campbell they went for around $60-75 for a couple of baseline runs or $175-250 to tune. A nice bad web discount would be appreciated but regardless I want in around Jan/Feb for a baseline run to see my HP and TQ.

Oh Yeah...

Now, you are talking more my language. Keinan has a WEALTH of custom turbo setup knowledge as he made his own completely custom twin-turbo/twin-intercooled WRX. With the 2.5 he had finally broke his 500 to the wheels goal. And then he broke the front ring&pinion and diff case on the first launch!

Miatas are a little metro, but I wouldn't turn away if you offered to let me drive it.

I'll get a price for some runs later tonight, or at the latest tomorrow.

I want 250hp on a 2300lb car.

I have the hardware, I just need a better fuel and ignition solution.

And it shouldn't break stuff.

Metro ?

Melvin
Check out this ride. The starting point is the Hardees in Hayes at the intersection of Guinea Road.
- Travel North on 17 to Ordinary about 2 miles. You will be turning LEFT onto Providence Road for about 3.5 miles. This road gets you off of 17 on your way to Hickory fork road with some nice turns. First mile or so watch your speed. You come to a stop sign after about 2.25 miles. Bear right here and the next mile or so has some nice turns ending in a 90 degree near the intersection of Hickory Fork Road.
-Turn LEFT on to Hickory Fork Road stay on Hickory Fork Road for about 8 miles. This road is in good condition with some sweepers, a S just before Sassafras and some good turns towards Pinetta except for for the road surface in that area. After you go through the dip, up the Hill past the church on right be prepared to turn left onto Old Pinette Road. This is a loop of about two miles here with some grin inducing turns.
- Turn LEFTonto Old Pinetta Road continuing about a mile, mile and half. Never had the Buffalo leave the field, yet.
This road dead ends on Ark Road.
- TurnLEFT onto Ark Road(606) travel about a mile until you intersect Hickory Fork Road again.
-Turn LEFT onto Hickory Fork Road head to Signpine. Go through the Dip again continue past Old Pinetta to Davenport Road about 3.75 miles.
-Turn RIGHT onto Davenport Road until you intersect Route 17 this should be about 3.5 miles.
- Turn Left on Route 17 (north) until you get to Adner just short of 2 miles. The LEO's like to set in the median of this section.
- Turn LEFT onto Route 14 proceed to Plain View should be about 2.3 miles. Your next turn will be in the middle of a right hand sweeper.
-Turn LEFT onto Plain View Lane. Travel about .25 miles and the road hangs a sharp right. Travel down this road just short of three miles. Caution road surface fair and some sand/gravel can be present.
-Turn LEFT onto York River Road. travel this road until you intersect with Route 33 at Snowhill about 4.8 miles.
- Turn RIGHT onto Route 33 heading east for just over a mile.
- Turn LEFT onto Route 14 "The Trail" and proceed north to St. Stephens Church on Route 360 about 30 miles. The bottom section of this road is just a connector, once thru the K&Q Court House the road begins. Continue toward 360 you will find some excellent turns, there is a right hander that is decreasing radius, several location that always has gravel. They are; Cumnor in the southbound direction; Stevensville in the center of the southern most turn, south bound in the northern most turn, between these two turns is a nice de-wieght easy to float the front tyre; further north where Walkerton Road comes in on the left in a sharp right hander sand/gravel maybe present. When you get to 360 there is a little store to get drinks and snacks.
- Turn around and go back down Route 14this time turning off before you get back to Route 33. About 1 to 1.5 miles short of Route 33 is Elsom mascot Road.
- Turn LEFT onto Elsom Mascot Road for about 2 miles.
- Turn RIGHT onto New Hope Road for about 4 or 4.5 miles. It will dead end onto Route 33 at a Church. This road is in fair shape with various types of surfaces. Also has several 90 degree turns.
- Turn Left onto Route 33 towards Glenns and Route 17 intersection. Cross Route 17 at Glenns and the Road becomes 198. Continue on this for about 12 miles maybe a little less. When 198 meets 601 you will have to stop and turn left. continue on until you come to Figg Shop Road. It will be past Harcum/ Route 606.
- Turn RIGHT onto Figg Shop Road that will merge with Indian Road kind hard to notice and continue onto Route 14/3 at WAN. This road has a blind left hander near the end.
- Turn RIGHT onto Route 14/3 headed toward Gloucester CourtHouse about 1.5 miles.
- Turn Left at light onto Bus 17 for about a mile.
- Turn LEFT onto TC WALKER Road proceed for about 2.5 to 3 miles.
- Turn LEFTonto Paige Road until you get to Feather Bed Road.
- Turn RIGHT onto Feather Bed Road proceed until you intersect Route 17 another mile or so.
- Turn Left onto Route 17 and proceed south towards the Coleman Bridge. Or you can go about 2 miles and hang a left onto Brays Point Road at the Exxon.
* Turn Left onto Brays Point Road go about .5 miles and follow the road to the right about 1.5 miles.
* Turn RIGHT onto Low Ground Road until you get to Route 216 (Guinea Road) here the road dead ends.
* Turn Right onto Guinea Road Route 216proceed to Route 17.
* Turn LEFT onto Route 17 and proceed south towards the Coleman Bridge.

These are at best Map Quest Distances and in the worse case is my guess at distance. Have reviewed these until I had both pair of my glasses on and believe it to be correct. As noted above I used Map Quest so all locations named with be in it's data base for review and approval.

OK guys, so I talked to Vern at All Aspects. And they said that runs should be around $40 for 3 pulls with AFR.

Personally I think that's awesome because I was paying $60 for the Subaru. So, yeah. These guys are very cool and are actually really excited to see this happen.

So, yeah, what do you guys think $40 isn't too bad huh?

Oh yeah!

On the car dyno they had it setup so that they can email the graph to you so that you can post it up on all the intarwebz, I'm sure that they would be able to do that for the bike dyno too!

Weather in the mid 50s to the 60s this weekend. Sounds like another excuse to take the Duc out for a spin. I know it would really like them roads over there in Williamsburg. hint hint Tank

We have ridden in colder weather. either day works for me.

If no one else chimes in I say Sunday, but I think there might be a better chance to get some of our imaginary friends out on Saturday. The time and location is great for either day. I hate to think the rest of the HRH restrict themselves to riding their computer chairs when the temps drop.

So let's hear it HRH who can make a ride this weekend

10am McD's Busch Gardens, pick a day!

The day is Saturday or Sunday but since you are the only other rider interested so far I would suggest Sunday just to get a new Bueller involved. Where are you coming from cause I'm on the southside and could meet and ride out together if you are from my side of the bridge.

He's in Newport News. The only good info in his profile. Update the profile, dude!

Sounds like a Trio for Sunday, so far.

Dress warm. The weatherman might say 58, but It will not be warm "under the trees".

Phil has a "low" seat. I see it, even in the teenee profile pic.

Phil,
I have to ask...
How much riding experience do you have??

Not a big issue, as we ride for the ride, and not to see who's fastest.

Melvin was a "new rider" when we started this rogue arrangement of Buellers, but he has learned that everybody is out to kill just him, and he has learned to use the motorcycle to do more than just commute. He survives the ride.

You know if I ride a yellow pig, someones got to "watch" the Duc hint hint. OH D-MN I get it now that's what you were trying to say. If you feel comfortable with the stretch to the ground(no pun intended) you can "watch" the Duc.
