on a slightly different topic . . .

What can I tell ya -- I'm a map freak -- my folks had a subscription to National geographic, and I spent as much time pouring over the maps as I did perusing the other educational opportunities the magazin presented a young boy . . .

kept all the maps to this day -- they still make for good rainy afternoon fun

one of my most prized possessions is a map of SEAsia done by a graphic illustrator I used to work with, lang far ago

What can I tell ya -- I'm a map freak --

My best riding partner and I are going down to the Field Museum's Map Exibition tomorrow --

Bomber, those old maps look like they have a lot of abrupt dead-ends on them.....similar to your GPS

My 06 Ulysses is in for service at Conrad's HD in Joliet for its 20,000 mile fork oil change and a new front rotor to replace the warped one I currently have on the bike. The warped front rotor is being replaced under warranty.

I am due for a new front tire as well which I purchased and brought in myself as Conrad's never stocks Buell tires. Unfortunately, Conrad's won't install customer purchased and brought in tires any more for legal reasons as the tire was not in their control and if it blows, they don't want to be liable. I can understand the lawyers are at work here. So I have an extra $100 Scorpion Sync front tire in my garage while they order and install a "30% mark up" $130 Scorpion Sync front for me. If you want a front Scorpion Sync 120/70 ZR-17 for $100, please let me know as I have one waiting for you.

Mark, have you considered taking your front wheel off yourself and taking it somewhere else for tire installation? You may save quite a bit.

Hi Paul, All I can say about the change is that the only constant in life is change. With this return to Sales I'm now starting my third loop around all the departments here except Motorclothes. I don't know if it's cause everyone wants me or if everyone can't wait to be rid of me.
As long as I'm here I'll see to it that all Buell'ers get the best break possible on P&A, not to worry.
Just as an FYI to everyone I'll be gone on vacation from Dec 10-Jan 2.

I prepped my bikes for winter layover this weekend. I couldn't resist taking the S3T out for a late-night romp Saturday night before the ice storm rolled in. I really do enjoy that bike.....
