Stopped in to see the Spudman today. His M2 is down. Finally found the cause of the clicking in his engine. It was a missing tooth on the #2 cam gear. Probably from the 2nd oil pump gear failure. He ordered Andrews Hi Lift cams and they should be here next week to be ready for Splash. Either that or Trixie offered to lend him her Blast. I told him the Hi Lifts would save him money, as he will no longer have to pay for front rubber with the wheel constantly in the air!!!

The SPLASH drums are starting to beat, all up and down the coast. Aboriginals are getting restless.

So, are any of you northern types riding to Lag/Sec and then on up to my place? Or down, from up there to here to meet up?

I started a thread on sacborg trying to get a semi accurate count on how many people plan to stay over at my place on the 15th.

the thread topic is under the Fourplay/SPLASH section.

We will have fun.

Paul

Paul, so sad to say my useless piece of SHIT buell will not be able to make it . I am so fucking bummed...really. I'm looking at the GSXR1 also, but my money don't flow very freely, and I will be lucky to have it for the Border Raid.
So I'm taking my kids camping for the 4th. I'll miss you fucker's on SPLASH...
sooner, (or later) GALEN

Well, SPLASH is out of question, I've had my cast off for less than a week and I'm sure the right arm won't be ready.(wrist won't move) I haven't missed one up until now and I'm bummed.
Galen, what do you need, we've got lots of used stuff.
Spudman, I have lots of slighty used M2 cams, let me know if I can help you guys.

I,m here!!
My dammed computer is redone but I can't seem to get hooked up to my IP.
Splash is only a couple of weeks away and the work has started to make it as smooth a possible.

All money's have been collected to pay for ThunderCross and it's just a matter of dropping it off at Gumby's.

Cycle Gear, (Tacoma & Portland) and Interwest Development have made generous contributions to make the event happen. (Thank you!)

Gootch, You arm Breakin Bastard!. A bottle a Hootch, some WD-40, a vice and a hammer might just be the ticket to make that throttle twister work. You could still come down to party!.
If not it just wont be the same.

Galen, give me a call. there has to be a way to get Betty back on her game.

Roll Call:

Everybody still got all their fingers? Any tickets? Close incounters with a drunk driver?

I hope we all survived the 4th in good shape.

All fingers still attached and I even got out on my bike for the first time in a month. Doc said to wait 6 weeks but really, riding is easier on my shoulder than flossing my teeth so my wife on her Sportster and I on my S3T went out for a ride that stretched out to 120 miles or so. The back roads down through Littlerock and Rochester, up through Lincoln Creek Valley and over to Adna, than a slide the back way past Ryder and into Vader, than a dash up to Winlock to see the worlds largest egg and on back to Delphi through Independence Valley. These are mostly all 2 lane back roads with multiple twisties, and indeed, while not THE best, certainly SOME of the best in Washington and some of the least well known. Little or no traffic, good road surfaces, and I have never seen a sherrif on them. Anytime someone would like a tour, give me a shout. And, damn, it felt good to be back on 2 wheels, I am looking forward to more short rides to build up my shoulder for a 3 day ride up to Winthrop on the 19/20th for the R&B festival. We have a house rented, walking distance to downtown. Still have beds for 2 more people (house holds 10) and room for some tents in the backyard. Ping me iffn yer intrstd.

Yes we made it also. Well, were in Kinston at the sister inlaw's house delivering her Sprint to her.

Shane, A guided tour through that patch in Wa would be nice. We have explored about every inch except that area.

Are you doing Slash? Who else is?
It better be everyone or your in BIG trouble.

Ray, great tombstone. I'll bet you are still hanging on BadWeb until an XB12 comes out. Then you can lose that limey bike. :]

July 4 I saw 8 shiny HD Road Kings ridden by Seattle's finest as they sprung one of the most effi$$ient speed traps ever: northbound 99 across the Aurora bridge and heading up towards the zoo. Like shooting fish in a barrel... My XB9S must have evaded their radar gun 'cuz they just waved back at me when I rode by at 5 over. :O

Kim, Chuck gave her the Sprint and she is selling the EX500. It was at my house as I was fixing and tweeking a few things for her. I'm Rooting for Cody today!!!!! GOOOO CODE RED!!!!!!!

Ray, think happy thoughts. Your Buell is up in moto heaven gently bending through road laced clouds ever wandering in timeless splender.
-or-
It ended up in some Bandito's club house destined to be stripped and used to power some brainless lowlifes misery machine only to be used in a robbery as a getaway vehicle.

But happy thoughts Ray, happy thoughts!

Jim Corso, Whats going on. Phone me at 253-474-9316 purdy please.

I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU GUYS ON SPLASH!!!
Okay... shhh, I'll quit yelling now. Still got my BRAG ride ringing in me ears I guess. Now, I'm ready for another group ride, woo hoo! (Check out my article - http://bcrider.com/bragrockies.html)

So I gather there'll be an entry fee for the Thundercross and of course everyone has to pitch in and donate $$ to Loni & Chris for the BBQ Friday night. How much will the Thundercross be? Us Canadians have to break out that printing press to make a new batch of those US Bucks before heading ova da borda.

So Theresa's got the Sprint now huh? Alright! Go girl! So what's Chuck riding then?
I'm still on my Blast - so no one bug me! LOL I'll kick ass in the corner, if only I can catch ya.
Oh, btw I'm scraping my boots now that the pegs are ground down. Peggy's got some fiiiiiiine booty! ;)
Ride on...

Lo, Thundercross is a NO Cost to anyone event. We raised the money needed so that anyone could ride and at no cost. Cool Huh?

Chuck bought a Daytona.

At the picnic, donations would be in order to help pay for food.

Can't wait to see you guy's, Bob
