well I have to agree with Mel. The thundercats is retro and always cool. The one with the stripes is definitely my second choice.

Mel-Would there be any addition to the thundercat one?

just a little something to make it ours. Maybe some flames(I like tribal flames on that blue pegasus) of some type or put the HRH/757 HOOLIGANS, etc somewhere...I don't know man but I'm thinkin.

ALL- what do ya'll think? Does everyone else like the thundercat? I don't mind makin decisions but there definitely needs to be a concensus.

I don't know why the road signs are stuck in my head, I liked the one with the stripes too.

I did that in "paint". Stole the pic of the Kat from Mel's post and pasted it on a roughly drawn yellow diamond, and added the black outline stripes.

That's why the Kat looks rough but the letters are OK. When I copied/pasted it into paint, it changed format and got f-ed up.

I'm cool with that, but no offense to our friends to the south, I think it looks a little too much like theirs.

How about we do a circle around the the outline like it is in the original, so it will be round not square. We can still do the yellow if you want, but I would change the whole thing to blue and white (Buell Colors) and maybe even do a little thing to it to make it look like a pendant.

(creative juices flowing) Not to mention, to have a blue and white Thundercat key ring for the Hooligans to own would be pretty cool... IMO.

I'll do a couple of versions today and post tonight.

I like the yellow one without the "sunspot", and put the "HRH" instead of telling everybody where we are with the area code.

To all

Just a little first impressions about the Ducati 998

-The steering effort is heavier
-Brakes are fantastic
-It loves to rev but power comes in much later in the RPM range
-Love the six speed trans, but I am still getting used to the tall first gear and the close ratio 2-6 gears

In comparrison to my S1W, seat of the pants it feels like the S1W accelerates harder through the RPM range, turns in sharper and is more rewarding at the speeds that won't tax your driving priveledges.

Conclusion

LIKE the Ducati 998
LOVE the S1W

Welcome back Dave,

We are voting on a Logo to use on the Storm Fronts Page. (Well i think thats whats happening, not more the 4 of us have chimed in on the choice.) But I think the Thundercat has won for the most part, now we're just arguing semantics. Check back a couple of post to see the runner ups! And lets hear your opinions

PS Guys, it looks like our DV-VA-MD Friends are looking for a name an logo as well. I was reading their page and they have a lot of choices with "Thunder" in them. I don't think it will be long before someone mentions the Thundercat as a suggestion. I think if we are going to do this, we need to hustle and get it on the site BEFORE someone else does.
