Well the ride started out well and.......the electrical gremblins found, of all the riders, the group leader!! So we spent some time in a nice parking lot, visiting, and finding the gremblin(s). We'll leave as that....the ride did continue!  | ||

Well we enjoyed a great ride and made it to Gus's Drive in in East Troy Wisc. There was a cruise night /car show going on when we"thundered in"  | ||

This Saturday is the Rock River HOG chapter's 13th annual "ride to a cure", or more affectionately named Save the Tits ride. This will be the fourth year that Brew City has attended this ride. We don't do very many of the HOG "parade" rides, but this one is worth it IMHO. And we always have a great time. It's a nice route as well. Rock River has done a GREAT job with this event. And with the predicted weather being absolutely perfect(77 degrees, sunny, and 0% chance of rain). This ride does cost $$$. It's a donation to breast cancer research of $40, and you need to fill out a release form here: http://www.ridintoacure.com/forms/release13th.pdf Registration begins at 8:30AM at Wisconsin HD in Oconomowoc. So lets meet at Hals by 7:45, and kickstands up at 8:00AM. We're also fed an outstanding lunch after the ride! So who's coming? | ||

What's the group's estimated ETA for the crud run? And is the usual regroup at Starbucks on Monona (Moana, Moanoana, Manaya?) planned, and if so what's the estimated ETA for arrival there? Won't know what or if I'm doing or what or if I'm riding until I wake up Sunday morning or so. | ||

We are all kinda waiting to see what the weather holds .. as of right now it looks not so good ... Plan was to leave my place around 8 or so ... I was going to cut out meeting at Hal's because two of our group that we would normally be grabbing there aren't going (Steve and Toni.. ) We also have people riding up from Racine .. and possibly one from IL and IA ... so my place is a good start since I am only a minute off I-94 .... If anyone else farther west is going - let me know so we can get together on our way out .. As of right now we are planning to meet up in that city none of us seem to know how to spell ... Menona ? with the IL group ... | ||

Hey Brian, Just a heads up about Sunday's ride. Paul James was just in the store and asking where you guys were meeting for the run. I wasn't sure what to tell him. Do you have any way to contact him? If you don't let me know and I will try to get in touch with him. BudC | ||

I don't have a way to contact him ... if you can get hold of him and give him my number that would be great .. We are going to stop at 18 & 83 at the QuickMart between 8:30 and 8:45 to pick up Steve L and his nephew .. We also decided that if it is raining at that point in the Crud Run area that Matt and I would lead the Dave ride as a back up to the Crud Run ... since the weather here is supposed to be good .. Starting that early will allow us to get the entire ride in and still have a good time .. | ||

OK Guys ... for anyone that is going on the Crud Run... If you are meeting at my place please show up between 7:30 and 7:45 AM ... that way we can be on the road no later than 8 AM.. We are picking up a couple people along the way at 18 and 83 between 8:30 and 8:45 ... Weather looks good so it appears as of now is we are doing the Crud Run... Yay !! | ||

It was a good day up at Road America (minus the trip to the gravel pit  ) The ride home was DARN COLD too!!! Wednesday I had to stop in Fond du Lac and buy some mittens!!! | ||
