Oops I forgot. KCBill I went by that parts store in westport on my lunch today looking for Tom. The store manager said he is on vacation till next Tuesday!! hahah figures thats my luck!  I am curious though why you guys said the Buell brand plug wires won't fit right? The part number from the website specificly mentions the 96-98 S1's ? I am just a little curious. I know I don't have to buy the Buell stuff but I want to if it is available. However I do not want to waste a trip over to Topeka if I don't have to.. Anyways good time last night! Hopefully all will go well in my garage on saturday and I will be able to ride with you all if you go out!  | ||

Mobbers, Let's go for a ride on sunday...say around noonish and meet at the shop (Central)? Keith, That's aweful low mileage for an Ironhead...I bet the speedo has been replaced at some point in time. Word of caution to the dude that's riding it around...DO NOT TRY TO HOTROD THE DAMN THING!! A friend of mine tried to race a 91 Katana, and missed third, shooting third gear main right out the back of the case! Further inspection yielded that every gear in there is damaged, and the case had been welded before in the same spot....ughhh why would anyone buy one of those damn things........   | ||

Frank, Thanks for the advice on the sporty. I don't think he will be hotrodding it anytime soon. How do I know that? He still has to get a license and learn to ride the thing! LOL I'll make sure I pass along the message to him though. Scott, Thanks for the message about the primary shoe. Sam is in Quincy allready. They arrived late lastnight. We'll try to work something out. thanks for the offer. Ben, We are leaving for Burlington this morning sometime. I'll call you. The girls may be going out on the river with a buddy of mine while we get in a little riding. Gonna try to find that Geode State Park that you took me too. We'll see you this evening. Keith p.s.
