I agree with S1wmike...
Doesn't really matter what you ride, it's how you ride it that counts.

Here is a "tentative" pic of what I had in mind. Believe it or not, the "line" is only about 85 miles. That's not counting how far you live from the route.....





Of course, if anybody wants to change it, that's fine by me....

One more thing....

The Coleman Bridge has a Toll Booth, only for the north-bound side.(which is the way we are going)

I think it's 85 cents for motorcycles, so bring change or a buck.

I hope it was a good ride bros. I'm back after an awesome vacation to Jackson Hole. Holy crap it was bad%#@! Anyway I have a physical Mon morn and I volunteered for VBS everyday this week from 6:00pm-9:00pm. I want to at least make it out with ya'll this weekend. COUNT ME IN! LOL

If we both show up at the same place, then we can't keep ya'll guessing!

Hearing all the talk about the roads down there in pungo/chesapeake/etc, I wouldn't mind rollin' down to see if it lives up to the hype. Brian(95s2rider) is supposed to post-up about a Sun ride, but Sat would be just as good for me, if ya'll want to meet up, I'll be there. Figure out a good place to meet!

BTW...
Hope ya'll had a good time last Sat, I did. Sometimes the roads up this way get dirty/gravely/slippery, and I was glad to see very little of the usual "junk" on the roads.

I figured the easiest and to stay with the trend we meet at the Mcdonald's at Lynnhaven Parkway and Lynnhaven Rd right off the Lynnhaven South exit off 264 EB 8:00am 7/28/07.

Sorry, but yes I had a good time. The route was a good choice, just wish there was less cages on the road that day. Save it because that is a ride I'm willing to repeat.

Hey all. It was good riding with you guys. I don't know what the plan is for this weekend. The "other guys" (non-Buellers) will most likely ride Sat. or Sun. That guy Paul that rode with us usually puts out a message mid-week after he and I talk about it. We usually meet up at Cosmos in Chesapeake at 0800 (to eat) with a 0900 departure time. The alternate meeting point is usually Silver Diner, somewhere by Battlefield Blvd. I prefer Cosmos, because it's right off of 664, 15-20 mins from VBeach and Hampton. There are some great rides out that way. Take a look at the "Benefit Rd." and "Ballahack Rd." using the link below. Nice low-traffic smooth roads all around there. I'll post later if I can confirm the ride time/day. Saturday is best?

OK Guys.... this just in! I received my Personalized letter from Mr Buell and two lovely, full color 2008 Brochures. One for the 1125R (like the one Paul had) the other is a nifty full line book, that in my opinion, really makes me want to trade up.

Did anyone else get this nice little "welcome to 2008 - don't you wish you waited a few more months" - package?

To all attending

For the ride this saturday 7/28/07 8:00am at McD's at Lynnhaven rd and pkwy.
The tentative route will be run down Lynnhaven to Salem out to Mt Pleasant to Indian River to West Neck to P.A. back onto I.R. to New Bridge down to sandbridge and returning back out to either run down to the Knot's Island ferry taking the ferry across to 168 or run pungo ferry to blackwater to fentress airfielsd onto land of promise with the chance of running out to balahak. this is just a tentative route but has roads of all flavors.
