So here I am truckin along following a brand new R6, well trying really hard to pass him. after about 4 laps of him pulling away in the straights, catching him at the entrance of the turn, going wide to pass, getting close and then here comes the straight and.............. bam, six bike lengths ahead of me. I get real tired of this and really put the hammer down, we are coming into the carousel(turn 7) and I go for it, got on the gas real early and tailed him down the back stretch, lated braked and passed just before the S's( he was really slow in the S's but you cant pass safely there) dove into the S's in third gear about 8k RPM and whacked the gas wide Fin' open, no shiot the front end lifted while in mid lean and I got all crossed up! Sucked all the vinyl off the seat, got er straightened out while still leaning and landed safely just as I had to shift to fourth for the front stretch headed to turn One, Rolled off for turn one with no brake and after that he was long gone! I got another one on Tims SV with the same guy but I was sliding around him! Tell that one after I see some Video Sanchez!!   Sanchez Posted on Monday, June 04, 2007 - 10:47 pm:        Charlie, that second session you thought you ran with the camera off came out just fine. The camera was pointed too low, but there were no white outs. Your leathers are nicely perforated too because we got a lot more wind noise than I expected. Next time we'll level the camera with the horizon in the middle, run when the sun's higher in the sky, bag the microphone, and get it down perfect. Oh, and from now on you have to turn the camera off before you walk in front of the bike because I don't want to look at any more video of your junk! Video progress: I ripped the first session from camera, encoded for DVD, and made all the DVD menus and junk. I'm in the process of editing it down small enough to fit on the web. I just now found the second session, so I'll leave that copying from the camera when I go to bed. Think Kdan is on his way, trying to catch up. 3 bikes now and I guess since somewhere in the next 3 - 4 years, what's his is mine & what's mine is mine, you could say he has 4. Between the 2 of us I know there are at least 4 more on the want list. The closest I got was some riding around locally. We rode home from SS&MB's house in the rain. Ann hadn't ridden in the rain before. Which Hooters is it again? It's at HWY120 and 316. Real easy to find. New12r I guess the only way to correct your posture is to sell the SV, and get back on the 12R. Any luck? It looks like you could get more weight off the bike and carry some more speed through the corners if you could get that shoulder down. Look on the bright side, though. I got a couple bites on the SV so lets pray. Some of the fastest racers I know might drag a knee a few of times during a whole race. Things that make you go I'm going back to dragging knees....besides I look better in the pics LOL... G' I'd go to bike night but the Buell hasn't been fixed yet. I just haven't had the time to drop her off at SMHD. Got Duc' is striped down and ordered a front axle and a few other goodies. I guess the low-side in T-2 at Barber at my last race must have bent it. Also found out my left fork was mounted to the triple about 3/8 inch shorter than the right side... No wonder it was handling a little funny.
