Ok Dad's, and Dad's to be!

Fathers day is just around the corner, I was
looking to do a track day for fathers day but
low and behold not ONE track is doing a Fathers
day Track day.

So the next best thing I can
come up with is June 3rd @ Little Tally. $100
if you pre register, Bike prep is to tape up
the glass/plastic lenses and drain coolant if
you have it.

Do I have any takers??

The offer on my house was accepted yesterday.
If all goes well I will be closing on the 20th of June.
Therefore all money and then some is accounted for in the near future.
I really want to get out to the track soon, but it is gonna have to wait until after I build THE NEST!

Charlie,
I will have to check to see if I can make it to the track day... cause guess what?!

Thursday morning, I get a call from our local DHR* department. They inform me that they have a 3-1/2 month old girl. They ask us if we would be willing to take her in as a foster child. So we agree and picked her up on Thrusday evening.
They also informed us that the prospects for her adoption are very good!
Now we have to wait, and hope that all goes well, and that the courts view things in our favor.
So we are taking things one day at a time right now, and trying not to get TOO excited about this. The only guarantee with adoptions through DHR*, is that there are no guarantees.

* DHR = Department of Human Resources. That is the government entity that deals with foster care and child protection as one of their purposes. Also can be known as DCS (Department of child services). These would be the folks that you do NOT want knocking on your door, out of the blue, if you are not involved with foster care.

hey all, just had to stop by an vent. It's one thing to be pregnant in the summertime , but man it's sucks when your ac doesn't work. Had the guy come by today to fix it an an hour later my house is hot again. I am so miserable this stinks,an pretty soon i think i will too. okay thanks for letting me vent,

On a good note had fun with you boys this weekend watching the tuff bikers in their first movie debut.Can't wait to see the movie stealth,an say hi to shannon for me. By the way if you ever do get a plane please take us all away for a nice week vacation some day!

Congrats, Stealth! Owning a home rocks. It gives you a ton of financial flexibility once you have enough equity for a credit line, and after you've made payments for a while, it will really kick your credit score up.

Congrats, Russ! Owning a baby probably rocks, too, but I have no experience to draw from. : )

Chris, you need some leather pants for a track day too, if you don't already have some. It's really important that they zip up to your jacket, so you'll have to match brands. Also, trust me when I say that you want perforated leather around these parts.

BA, you and Charlie can come live with me for a while, and we'll all just stink together.

Races were canceled this weekend do to the fires, Jennings is a smoke fest. Their going to re-schedule.

Has anyone called Tally to see if they still have spots left, they go quick.

Tally is a cheap track day. Eds prices on the school isn't bad either. A lot cheaper than Keith Codes superbike school and you get more track time.

Unless you want to race save your money and do more track days.

I'd do a track day first before taking the school.....

We need more track addicts in our club.

Good leather is a REQUIREMENT! Gloves and boots must be leather too.

Camping is allowed, not sure how much they charge.

As far as tires go....street tires are o.k, but "performance street tires would be better" Pilot Powers, Pilot power TC's, Diablos and Diablo Corsas, etc

sanchez- got me some leather pants, and i feel like a member of poison when i wear them with my alpinestar boots, and my hair is gettin long, hell i think im goin to perm it! lol, yeah i know about zippin to the jacket and matching brands and what not, im goin to get it this weekend, cyclegear is havein a killer sale gettin some more rubber too!
