D3r3k. Nice pictures. Hope you enjoyed yourself. Just one question, why was the Buell at the back of the pack? JK.

Phoneman:

I imagine you want the good '67-'71 ex. manifolds and not the later logs, right?
I'm pretty sure I have a right side Hi-Po, and I will have to look at my '68 c-body mill to see what it has on it. That engine is in Ohio, so it may be a couple of weeks until I get down to check it out.

What vintage acc. brackets are you looking for? If I'm not mistaken they changed in the early '70's due to a water pump change.
I probably have both, so let me know what you need.

I just got the same call from the GM this morning.

I would like the earlier style manifolds I think the block is a 72 I will have to check. I am looking for a complete acc drive setup preferably with A/C so I can have and air compressor.

I'm in for a shirt in large if there are any, but alas, I still have a group of 10-12, little kids waiting for me to give them my version of God....I sometimes make things up as I go along....LOL

I have to figure a way to meet up with you guys. I am working in the Metro area for a few days next week chasing bad limos around.
There is an apartment complex north of Spidermans place that they seem to congregate at.

Hardcorps, have you ever written a limo ticket before? I could teach you everything your prosecuter needs to know, stop a bad limo-save a Redwing.

Phoneman:

Air compressor?!?! You must be building a Dodge 4x4. Will rear dump car manifolds work on a truck? I am pretty sure BB trucks use a center dump manifold. I will PM you to let you know what brackets I find in my stash. I know I have a BB bracket for 100 amp alternator and air. Do you have/want the big alt setup?

I also have a sweet '85 4x4 crew cab short box that I'd like to trade for a Buell........

Hey guys -

I just found you on the web today. I've been a member of the BadWeb for a little over a year and ride an '05 XB9SX.

Where at in Depot Town & Royal Oak do you meet? I'll be riding from Kalamazoo, but have friends & family in both places. I'd love to meet up with some other Buell riders.

Well to all who are curious.. there is not going to be a new XB purchase in the near future for me. I did a credit check @ American for the Yellow 12R, and I was approved.. but I am glad I asked questions. The promotion going on now (0 down, 0 Payments for 120 days and 0 interest for 90 days) BUT!!! once the 120 days are up if you don't make payments the interest already started to accumulate and the interest rate is 11.99%!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT THE F*&K!!! That is NO DEAL at all. I even had "AWESOME" credit too... which I know I have very good credit cause I get the best rates through GMAC (thanks to my wife the "Financial Wizard/Nazi")

So unless the wife lets me get a loan for $6000 through my bank right now (ain't happening) then there is no bike in my immediate future

That deal is extreamly deceaving... I am pritty pissed off right now. oh well

Any of you guys like off road riding? On Uly's : ) I just went out today May 1st and found some very nice dirt roads with connecting trails I saw a Jeep or 2 leaving. I don't want to explore the trails solo and all my friends have sport bikes. Anyone up for it?

I went during the rain and had not problem navigating the road. The trails look like they might get gnarley. They are right off of 52 by territorail, the part of territorial that connects to US-23. You might not be able to see well but the front of my bike is coated with mud. The entire lower half of the bike also. About 1/4 inch thick on exhaust etc... Looks the way a Uly should : )

Let me know

WOW.........12%, that stinks. I was just at Cummings HD getting my new front fender again (don't ask) when I seen that deal. They actually had 5 or 6 Buells on the floor.

Derek, got my shirt and looks great. I wish meetings and such weren't an hour away for me or I would make more of them. When the kids get out of school i'll have a bit more time.

Will there be any Hooligan shirts left to purchase?

Anybody following the Matt Ware posting on the Quick Board?

Thanks.

Yep, Sunday was a beautiful day. I have a suggestion though. Maybe we could meet somewhere early for a coffee, then hit those twisties, then stop for lunch somewhere after. That way we would miss more of those tools on the road. They'd either be in Church or still in bed. There were some very nice roads we missed out on because of the slow traffic. Just a thought. I'm not, I'm sorry to say, a regular attendee of Sunday Church services.

There are Hooligan shirts left, and I have more on order. You can order one at www.detroithooligans.com.

The traffic kinda killed our ride on Sunday, but it was still nice to get out. Hopefully next time I wont be riding the BMW.
